Hand lotion and learn how to give yourself a manicure. 5 minutes a week and your hands will thank you.
If your cuticles do this on their own, or you notice pitting on or under your nails, it might be an early sign of psoriasis.

How did y’all get a picture of my hand after a couple weeks of biting my fingernails?
I have cracks on the corners of my fingers, beside the nail. They run deep and I have to put Polysporin with lidocaine on them to reduce the sting. It’s a combination of biting my nails and working a job that requires constant antibacterial hand-washing. I hate it.
