- Comment on Do you toss food once the date on the label has passed? Experts say that's often a waste 1 week ago:
Only on milk. Learned that one the hard way.
Refrigerated meat (namely poultry, don’t do red meat so idk) also mostly gets tossed after the one week mark but I have a weaker immune system. Although, living in the US I don’t like eating too much meat for that same reason.
Dry goods are fine unless there’s mold or bugs.
Everything else gets the sniff test, or only goes if there’s visible mold. ¯\(ツ)/¯

Pretty much an ancient Ben Shapiro, doing the publicity circuit on wifey’s dime

Pretty sure they’d do the same if they lived in the same circumstances long enough

Not a WASP but white with “ethnic” white heritage, and same.
I make a few of my grandma’s recipes every single holiday season because it’s just not right without them.
Hell, even my grandpa could cook when he felt like it lol, though I don’t think I can ever properly recreate his squid sauce.

It’s the metalhead rule. The “scariest” looking folks are usually big ol softies who will give you the shirts off their backs. They’re the good ones :)

Finished Creature Kitchen, which was charming and bite-sized. Loved the retro inspired graphics.
Alternating between replays of Cult of the Lamb and Chicory: A Colorful Tale. Dabbling in Cyberpunk when I’m home and feel like firing up my desktop so I can stream it since my Steam Deck doesn’t handle it locally at the levels I want it to.
Also got a gift copy of The Force Unleashed so will probably try that out this weekend too 😄

If I get into modding that’s another 30+ hours just on installation but could be a fun rabbit hole! Do you have any recommendations for mods?

I finally got Cyberpunk since it was on sale and been playing it on my Steam Deck. I’m only a few hours in but I’m blown away by how pretty and performant the game is.
I typically scoff at AAAs, especially after CP77’s initial release, but they seem to have smoothed out quite a lot and filled out missing chunks. I can see myself sinking the next few weeks of free time into this one.

What if my kid gets all kinds of treats and play, all the cuddles they want (which varies from kid to kid and day to day), in a house full of people who love them and they still puke on my floor for fun after eating too fast?

…? Skyrim SE has been “not supported” for months now.
The only way to stop the keyboard crash is to bring it up in a certain part of the creations page, which means you can’t fix it without internet.

Plenty of age appropriate “birds and bees” books out there, this is a “packets and pings” one.
