- Comment on Australia | Teenagers sue over social media ban for ‘violating their right to communicate’ 4 days ago:
Parents who neglect their children have their children removed. There are no excuses for bad parenting, there are plenty of resources to understand what “the internet” is. Seriously?
This is not a real argument. I’ve presented alternatives and you’ve ignored them. You raise strawmen and move goal posts. There are non police state alternatives. You’re arguing in bad faith and I will not engage with you further
- Comment on Australia | Teenagers sue over social media ban for ‘violating their right to communicate’ 4 days ago:
People have always been fucked, we don’t need a bloody police state just because some people let their kids use the internet
- Comment on Australia | Teenagers sue over social media ban for ‘violating their right to communicate’ 4 days ago:
Govt could extremely easily release a product, with or without NBN involvement, that helps control internet for kids. They don’t and instead impact everyone with this bullshit

- Comment on Alliyah 'married' their teacher at 13. No-one else knew 2 months ago:
This one, I can’t remember what study it was but something like half of all child sexual abusers were not attracted to children but instead had very stunted social skills (usually disabled or otherwise mentally ill) and struggle to connect with anyone with more advanced social needs than children. This results in them praying on the most vulnerable which is usually children.

- Comment on IPv6 & Opnsense & Not Exposing Machine-Specific IPv6s to Corpos 3 months ago:
Yes most IPv6 devices are responsible for giving themselves addresses with SLAAC. Some networks use DHCPv6 but they should only be used where SLAAC is not possible
- Comment on IPv6 & Opnsense & Not Exposing Machine-Specific IPv6s to Corpos 3 months ago:
Use ipv6 privacy addresses and temporary addresses and you can stop thinking about it

Why can’t use VPN? I got my family to, wireguard app with a configuration file you send them for import is pretty straightforward and needs no configuration on the user side
