Dayum, good for you!

Thanks. Had some serious health issues and decided that I needed to get fit or end up a wreck by the time I’m sixty.

Depends on if I had sex or not. I’m not putting them back on after, but I also don’t really see the need to take them off just to go to sleep.
not_that_guy05@lemmy.world 2 months ago
18 doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold. Oh and also the fan running on high.
nagaram@startrek.website 2 months ago
I had to kill the fan. Its been fucking up my sinuses.

18 at home, 20 when with homies
davidagain@lemmy.world 2 months ago
But with your socks still on, right?
Right?
Simulation6@sopuli.xyz 2 months ago
I guess no one wears night gowns anymore.
ikidd@lemmy.world 2 months ago
20, why would I get all dressed up just to go to bed?
Jerb322@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Usually 18, sometimes 3.
billwashere@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Same. Depends on the weather.
MajorasTerribleFate@lemmy.zip 2 months ago
Usually shirt bad. Sometimes sensory issues make shirt superior to other random torso-fabric interactions.
daannii@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Most women don’t sleep in bras. Or as I call them “titty jail”.
billwashere@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Hell my wife takes hers off as soon as she gets home with this weird yoga magic trick thing where she never removes her shirt. I swear it breaks physics.
daannii@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Yes I know the trick and can remove a bra without taking my shirt off in about 7 seconds.
I don’t know how we learn this. But it’s just something we figure out and perfect at some point.

List is incomplete. It seems to assume a relatively warm climate or expensive use of night-time home heating.
Thus: Long sleeves. Underwear under long trousers perhaps for sanitary purposes, but possibly for comfort.
There's probably also a few people who have socks they wear to bed if not also blindfolds or old-timey nightcaps, but I get why those things aren't in this graphic. Lack of long sleeves is more of a head-scratcher.
Mr_Fish@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Solution: more blankets. Where I grew up we had regular frosts all through winter, but I never really went with anything more than 18. 2-3 blankets and a thick duvet does a lot for keeping you warm.
unknownuserunknownlocation@kbin.earth 2 months ago
Yeah except it gets that much more difficult to get up when everything around you is fucking freezing.
Sc00ter@lemmy.zip 2 months ago
My blankets are always stolen in the middle of the night by someone who needs to be swaddled and rolled like a burrito. I used to have “emergency blanket” under the bed for after the blankets were stolen, but that didnt always make it back, or itd get taken too.
Also the (2) 70 lb dogs sneak into bed and dont wake me up until i can no longer move the blanket. And waking the 13 year old dog up to move him is only going to disturb my partner, so its not worth it.
So like i tell me kids, control what you can control. I now sleep in sweats, and sometimes even with a robe on because thats basically a blanket that cant be stolen
Uebercomplicated@lemmy.ml 2 months ago
More blankets don’t help the moment you get out of bed in the morning. The apartment was unheated for much of the winter during my teenage years, so I usually wore two pairs of thick woolen socks and thick woolen PJs (along with a thick duvet and several blankets) so I wouldn’t freeze to death the moment I got out of bed. The period between rushing out of bed and into an 8 ply woolen bathrobe was still painful though.
stoy@lemmy.zip 2 months ago
Sometimes when my room is very cold, I sleep with socks on, though the rest usually stays off.
hikaru755@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Why are the bras all different? Why are the bottom options for 6-10 different from the others? Why are 8 and 9 basicaly the same? This feels somehow AI generated
Matombo@feddit.org 2 months ago
my exact reaction: AI slop
also my option isn’t even on there

20 unless it’s really cold
I_Has_A_Hat@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Just pile more blankets on
ReverendIrreverence@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Yup. I usually have a down comforter sloppily rolled up down one side of the bed and can easily grab it if need be. Lightweight and extremely effective.

RBWells@lemmy.world 2 months ago
- Occasionally 9. I can’t imagine sleeping in a bra, that seems dreadfully uncomfortable.
Dicska@lemmy.world 2 months ago
I wouldn’t sleep with a bra, either. It’s just an unnecessary layer, preventing my skin from breathing properly. The straps would also be just in the way. I’m a cis male, though.
RBWells@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Seems bad for circulation too.
FosterMolasses@leminal.space 2 months ago
Nah this is accurate.
FatVegan@leminal.space 2 months ago
The first 3 girlfriends i had, always slept in their bras. So i just assumed that was normal. I haven’t met anyone who does that ever since, and thinking about it, it seems like torture
kokoto@lemmy.zip 2 months ago
To me sleeping in a bra is like trying to sleep with glasses on

Missing the difference between 8 and 9?
misfitx@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Briefs versus bikinis for the ladies.
ParadoxSeahorse@lemmy.world 2 months ago
This has been changed since the original (someone else linked). 8 should be 7 and 7 should have 17. Eight looks like an adult diaper.
treeofnik@discuss.online 2 months ago
That makes much more sense! Figured it was inconsistent.
Karjalan@lemmy.world 2 months ago
Male version Granny panties vs nickers.

20 is the best. Sleeping naked is the best way to sleep for me. Especially in summer when i don’t need to use blanket or any other cover.

I also wear underwear under my pyjamas.

Who the fuck is 11-15??? Only a complete masochist leaves the girls belted in for sleep.
papalonian@lemmy.world 2 months ago
If I’m ever in a relationship again, I’m finding a way to drop this line. That’s hilarious.
danekrae@lemmy.world 2 months ago
I could learn from that optimism.
Suru@mander.xyz 2 months ago
I was definitely 14 or 15 when breastfeeding, because the girls tended to leak. Nobody wants to sleep in sheets that smell like sour milk.
Gerudo@lemmy.zip 2 months ago
My wife says it’s uncomfortable not having yhem belted in
Blackmist@feddit.uk 2 months ago
Mine uses a pillow to keep them apart. I assume they fight at night.
