Alocasias propagate by these little bulbs, corms, which the plant uses to store energy. You can look for them when you re-pot the plant and pull them off without damaging the mother plant. They will root and sprout in high humidity conditions. For example, I usually stick any corms I find into some perlite and keep them under a humidity dome until they’re well established.
