I kinda was. But now it has been so long and the more that i think about it, the more i realise how much i hate what they did with gta5, or gtao to be specific. I hope to pirate it to fuck around a bit, i do not plan to give them any money

I honestly don’t even believe that bolt is that cheap. I read horror stories about a set of 4 normal ass “aviation grade” screws that cost thousands of dollars.

- Comment on Windows 11’s 2025 problems are getting impossible to ignore 5 days ago:
I switched to linux and i dual boot pop os windows now. I only use windows to configure things that has no linux support. Or when a game doesn’t work right after an update. Windows is truly bizzare if you haven’t used it for a bit. Like every time i clicked on the windows key, or sometimes, seemingly randomly when i opened a new windows, it opened the xbox game launcher, or whatever it’s called. I never installed it obviously. I couldn’t really find it, because i uninstalled everything that had the name xbox in it.i “had” to watch a video on how to disable something that i didn’t install and didn’t want in the first place.
- Comment on How TF2 Still Makes Millions (With No Updates) 5 days ago:
I played 1000s of hours of tf2. The last time was probably like 6 years ago. I still get weekly friend invites on steam from people who only play counter strike and tf2. I know exactly why, and it’s weird.
- Comment on Star Citizen is on course to reach $1 billion in player funding in 2026, and we still might not get to play its singleplayer campaign next year 1 week ago:
I played this game more than i played red dead redemption for example. Like way more, and it was cheaper. 1 billion is insane, everyone knows that. But there are crypto and nft games that gobblet up 250millions and it’s just a standard asset pack made by a guy in a week and there isn’t as much of an outrage, because people just want to be mad.
- Comment on Grindr CEO Says App Will Be “AI-First” and “Not in the Business of Politics” 1 week ago:
I wonder who sees something “AI” and sees it as a plus. For fucks sake, the other day i saw a gas station sandwich that read: made with an AI recipe. Who is this for? Is it just buzzwords, like HD? Where people sold HD sunglasses or HD pullovers.

- Comment on What're your strong opinions from an aged / dead fandom? 1 week ago:
It’s kinda sad that they need that name/franchise so bad to sell games. I loved mega man as a kid, but honestly, it’s nothing special. Even as a big fan, i didn’t like the tv show, or anything about mega man, just the games. And even they were kinda clunky and the best part was that you could pick your playing order and steal other robots powers. That is not really enough for a good game. There are hundreds of indie games that are better platformers or games with better lore and everything.

- Comment on The events at hogwarts were just an escalating series of magical school shootings 🤔 2 weeks ago:
I got the first and the second book from my mom when they came out. While i didn’t love them per se, i liked them enough that they peaked my interest in becoming a reader, and i started to read more books, and i’m thankful for that.
Since then i had a few girlfriends who were super into HP and they made me watch the movies, and i have to say, these stories are not thought out at all, and are often dumb as hell. I don’t really remember much, but just the fact that quidditch doesn’t make a lick of sense is really telling. Or goblet of fire, they were okay to let them play with dragons. Everyone shrugged and told HP that well, he might die. Someone would’ve drowned if he didn’t break the rules and people were pretty upset about the rule breaking. And at the end, Cedric died and everyone was absolutely shocked and devastated that someone died at the murder tournament.

It’s that weird niche of taming and owning dinosaurs and base building and what not that no other game has really filled. I think that’s why they are still around. No one wants to make a new ARK game, because ARK has been around for so long. And the game is huge, it’s just a janky ass mess.

Usually i would say people just won’t care. But firefox only has like a 2% user base anyway, and that makes me think that it’s mainly by enthusiasts, and they are more likely to just hop off. I hope they go down with their shitty AI and set an example.

I always liked the xbox controllers, but mainly because they are generally bigger and i have big hands. I paid way to much for the pro controller or whatever it’s called. It’s hot garbage. But to he honest, other than the steam controller which i liked a lot, i wouldn’t really know what to get.

- Comment on Is it a bad idea to learn Russian because of the war? 3 weeks ago:
I play online games for almost 30 years on european servers, and the amount of russians i met that i would call not assholes are staggeringly low. So i would say they have a people problem. And all the events now going on seem to support that theory.
- Comment on What are your gaming highlights of 2025? 3 weeks ago:
I can’t take the game awards seriously because they didn’t win anything. That game is an actual masterclass in pretty much everything. I usually hate the term “immersion”, because maybe i was just never really immersed in a video game. KCD2 absolutely did it. I think i played that game for like 20 hours before i even started a main mission. There are so many things to do and to see in this game, i absolutely loved every minute of it. The mission where you got drunk as fuck and went to look for more booze, had me genuinely laughing. When i learned that when you steal the lute for example, it’s not enough that no one sees you stealing it, when the see it’s gone and you were sneaking around there, they still figure it was you. The map and the ui is stunningly beautiful. I never loved listening to NPC’s as much as in this game.

While i think it sucks, and the only reason they take this weird approach is that the embark guy is a turbo AI bro. What i don’t understand why they even bother, since arc raiders has only like 10 voice lines
