There are plenty of mirrors, they aren’t going anywhere.
- Comment on Indonesia will quit Trump's Board of Peace if it does not benefit Palestinians, Prabowo says 1 week ago:
So you paid billions to be on this board thinking it would actually promote peace?
- Comment on I was told it would be a cultural experience 2 weeks ago:
Clean as fuck bathrooms, pretty decent bbq, affordable snacks, jerky for days, cheapest ice you will find, they pay their employees a fair wage…
We are dumb, but not because of this.

Hmmm, how much you want to bet the tobacco companies slipped a little money under their door mat

Breezy puzzler with some minor platforming elements worth it for the quick play through.

Replaced is a good but short taste of the game, I played the demo and aim keeping it on my wishlist

Not OP, but when I hear this argument, a lot of schools wouldn’t let you go to your locker between all classes. That, or your classes were so far apart, you didn’t have time to go even get to your locker between them. There were some days I could only get to my locker once.

I tried a natural mosquito repellent with this in it and was shocked at how effective it was. I’m a mosquito magnet and it worked just as well as the ones with deet.

Can’t believe Ted Lasso hasn’t been mentioned
- Comment on noo not the cashier 5 weeks ago:
Some people like to track receipts for bookkeeping or needing a return. Knowing you actually got a receipt vs. the cashier assuming you don’t want it and throwing it away.

There’s a place near me paying $800 for new donaters. I’m 100% going to go.

Talking “proper” calibers is the equivalent of what Linux distro is best. It comes down to how accurate and quickly can you shoot under pressure. By most standards a .22 is too light a round to stop someone, unless you can precisely hit the head and potentially multiple times. A 9mm is kind of gold standard starting point for self defence. Like someone mentioned, if you aren’t a great shot, or feel like under pressure you wouldn’t be accurate, grab a shotgun. Just racking one can stop some people from attacking.

I use passive but my wife uses active ones from Walker. Their passive isn’t quite as good, but plenty for range use in case the batteries die.

My God, we can’t even have a celeb speak out against the atrocities in Gaza without some dick heads saying “that’s not good enough so it’s worthless”

I don’t like raw radishes, but I will devour pickled ones.
- Comment on What's with companies naming things "MyNoun"? 1 month ago:
What pisses me off the most about this is when I search for your app. It doesn’t start with your actual company name, I have to check alphabetical, see it’s not there. Go to install your app only to find I already had it, it’s just listed as MyInsertnamehere. Infuriating.

I recently had to move with my physical book collection and swore I wouldn’t do it again. I converted it all to ebook now. I’m down to about a dozen physical books, not counting comics and TPBs.

To be fair, a LOT of people voluntarily post doorbell videos on public sites like Facebook, X, Next Door etc. plenty for AI to scrape without even touching “private” brands.
- Comment on How can we convince Trump voters to NOT vote for Trump (or Vance) in the 2026 midterms and the 2028 election? 1 month ago:
Just get more people voting. Study after study on US politics proves that if voting percentages were higher, the GOP would probably never be back in power.
