- Comment on Is playing horror games a good way to get desensitized to fear, or it gonna backfire and make my anxiety worse? 4 hours ago:
I have anxiety but love horror movies. I struggle to play horror games though. Just something about being more immersed in it can push me over the edge.
- Comment on What games have mastered "Both emotional extremes"? 12 hours ago:
Spiritfarer
First, it feels like a cozy little game, awesome artwork, everything’s happy and chill. Then they hit you with the real game, helping people cross over after they died. Not so bad. Then the REAL real game is explained to you, and it is gut-wrenching. I didn’t just have a tear or 2, I full on ugly cried. Every emotion is utilized in that game.

You may be right, but there are less shit services. I’ll try quoboz or deeper before giving my money to jackasses like Dorcey or Spotify owner funding AI weapons.

Usually, when there is that much time between announcement and actual release, so much changes. The vibe and art direction really stayed the same.

I agree. Build your phone to not melt, and don’t force degradation on the consumer in the name of “safety”.

It was so visceral in the book. I remember watching the movie thinking “oh its about to happen”, then it’s basically off camera.
- Comment on They'd just appear out of nowhere 1 week ago:
There actually is. I have looked into it before because I have a lot of floaters, but have never had surgery. The risk and downtime with the surgery is pretty high, so it’s usually not recommended.
- Comment on What's your thoughts on this? 1 week ago:
I think a fairer argument is to see how many people actually reduced their screen time. Then, see if that offset the run time of this ad. In that case, this sign doesn’t get a pass because we all know the answer to that question.
- Comment on What's your thoughts on this? 1 week ago:
Eh, I can give a pass to this because even if it wasn’t this ad, another one would be in its place burning the same amount of energy.

I once saw a guy bust out a 32 inch monitor and hook it into his 17" Alienware laptop…at McDonalds. Can’t remember what he was playing, but it was an online game like CoD/Fortnite. Still have no clue why they chose McDs.
- Comment on Shit's getting real 2 weeks ago:
I’d assume that after years and years of absorbing rising prices, they just are finally at a point where they have to to stay afloat. I’m sure just the aluminum tariffs are a huge reason.

- Comment on As electric bills rise, evidence mounts that data centers share blame. States feel pressure to act 2 weeks ago:
It will be even worse than before. Texas hasn’t added any power generating capacity outside of the devil that is solar and wind. Solar and wind are the only reasons we haven’t seen the rolling blackouts for a few years now. Texas is even trying to make it harder to add more solar and wind, so it will strain even more.
- Comment on As electric bills rise, evidence mounts that data centers share blame. States feel pressure to act 2 weeks ago:
This is going to feel like the recycle scam isn’t it. Corpos sucking down every last drop of energy while residential will be asked to turn up the thermostat in the summer and down in the winter so we “do our part”.
- Comment on Have you encountered this? 2 weeks ago:
Here in the states, the minimum for tipped workers is $2.13. Also, the federal minimum wage for nontip is $7.25. And they wonder why we can’t afford McDonald’s over here.
- Comment on Xbox Series X and S: Microsoft Has Reportedly Sold Less Than 30 Million Consoles This Generation 3 weeks ago:
The one thing Xbox has had going for it for a while now is actual usage. There were metrics out there that even with the smaller player base, users engaged with and had more playtime than PS. This was true well into the current gen.
