That’s how you teach this letter to English speakers.
Some will tell you it makes a b sound at the start of the syllable like bed and a p sound at the end. Others will say it’s only a b in the middle.

If one were so inclined you could have many 5318008s on the screen back in the TI-84-85-86 days. Or write a graphing formula to draw them… my teachers didn’t appreciate that very much.

Yeah, it’s the nature of dog whistles but 88 is the only one I remember. Even so I’d probably assume birth year and think nothing of it, but I understand the concern.
