Oh it’ll work. After Bush Jr. Republicans pulled a “Who? Oh I didn’t know him that well”. Then they got a fascist elected. Their base has hamster brains. This whole ordeal should have buried the Republican party in a deep unmarked grave. But it won’t.

We’d get Vance, who is arguably worse. Seriously. Look into the guy. He’s a freakshow, but more subtle than Trump. Still very stupid though, so we’d still be led by a stupid extremist.
The cult as we know it would end though. Vance isn’t going to be able to take over as cult leader. He doesn’t have the flamboyant bigotry that Trump does, which is what draws low IQ conservatives to him like he’s some idol.
Doesn’t matter. I’ve witnessed conservatives all my life. With Trump gone, they’ll absolutely vote for the next shitstain racist/fascist/bigot/moron the Republican party hands them. Because the will never, under any circumstances, vote blue. And they’ll never vote 3rd party cuz they won’t want to risk baby eating Democrats gaining power. So they’ll bite their tongues and vote for whatever Republican is on the menu. And now that Trump has opened Pandora’s Box, we’re just going to see worse and worse candidates from Republicans because they watched and saw what Trump was able to get away with, so they’ll take advantage, because why wouldn’t they? They’ll want their turn to grift the presidency to create their own dynasty.
I don’t want to make a Monday even shittier than it already is, but realistically, things are probably going to get worse, not better, even with Trump gone. But hey, at least we won’t have to hear his fucking voice anymore or wake up wondering what monumentally stupid thing he’s said or done every fucking day.

When you know your account can and will be temp/perm banned by a fucking bot, you kind of stop caring about your account and your behavior on that account.
I was pretty careful until I had my 13 year old account perm banned without warning for saying “it’s ok to punch a Nazi”. Now I’m probably on my 40th account and I could care less about calling a Trump supporter a product of incest who should play on the freeway.

It’s kind of crazy that we’re already kind of there. I find myself constantly thinking about how I’m most likely being recorded at any given time I’m not at home. Even at home until I put my foot down and told my girlfriend her Ring cameras inside the house were to be put away unless we were on vacation.
And I’m old enough to remember when this feeling of being watched all the time was not a thing. I know it helps solve a lot of crimes, but honestly, I don’t care. I don’t think it’s worth it to live in a surveillance state.
Also, I’m a nudist. I go to nude resorts/beaches. People are going to be wearing these fucking things now and then uploading the video to the internet. NOT OK. Like, there’s an unspoken rule among nudists not to have phones out, and if someone does, people will confront them about it. But you can’t really protect against hidden fucking cameras in sunglasses.
I’m so tired of all this.
