If every American learned what citizens in other 1st world countries have that we don’t, there would be a revolution tomorrow.
- Comment on A postal worker in Harlem attacked a trans woman. She fought back and fatally stabbed him in self-defense. This is how the NY Post framed it. 3 days ago:
Yeah, this is a tabloid. In a decent world people running tabloids would be imprisoned or doing thousands of hours of community service.
- Comment on Little miracles 1 week ago:
You love to see it.
I’m actually glad how this is going down over on Redshit. People are openly commenting about doing this, and worse, to all Nazi pieces of shit and the comments aren’t generally being removed. My original 13 year old Redshit account was banned without warning for saying “It’s OK to punch Nazis”. So it’s great seeing the same sentiment being so overwhelming right now that the mods are basically throwing their hands up and allowing it.
I love seeing Redshit squirm under the weight of its users.

No.
- Comment on Wait, that game is still playable online? 1 week ago:
I gave up on B4B pretty quickly because after your team dies a couple times you’re sent back to the beginning of the campaign, instead of the beginning of the level, like in L4D. Then everyone just drops out of frustration. Made trying the harder difficulties pointless. Was a really bad design decision.
- Comment on I'm a console gamer so, Why the hate on the Epic Games Store? 2 weeks ago:
I hate it because it’s like they’re trying their hardest to make a shitty storefront.
It’s awful.
I get almost none of the information I need when on a game’s store page. Meanwhile, I get all the info I need and then some on the same game’s Steam page.
It’s like they don’t want to sell their product.
I do definitely appreciate the weekly free games. Sometimes, like this week, they have solid offerings. It’s Dead Island 2 this week, btw.
- Comment on Star Citizen’s new cash shop offerings provoked fresh pay-to-win and predatory monetization accusations | Massively Overpowered 2 weeks ago:
Played it on a free weekend a few months ago after hearing about it for over a decade.
Shit sucks.
Looks pretty, and that’s where the good parts end.
Everything, and I mean everything, is insanely tedious and the inventory system is godawful. After 10+ years of “development”.
Avoid this garbage.

Because the majority of Lemmy users are American and the United States is in the process of collapsing, or at the very least, steep decline. So it’s kind of the primary topic of discussion.
If you don’t like it, you can edit your feed to only show the subs you want. It’s pretty easy.
- Comment on "I don't know" how much Borderlands 4 will cost, Gearbox boss says, but it had "more than twice the development budget for Borderlands 3" and "it might be" $80 like some Nintendo and Xbox games 3 weeks ago:
I’ll enjoy buying it in 5 years during a Steam sale.
There’s an overabundance of games out there. I can wait.
- Comment on Nintendo Updates Its User Agreement To Crack Down On Emulation 3 weeks ago:
This is why I pirate.
I’m tired of companies telling me what I can and can’t do with something I’ve purchased.
Anyways. I’ll be gaming on my PC if anyone needs me.

If you perform a Nazi salute, you’re a Nazi.
Musk performed TWO Nazi salutes on national television during a presidential inauguration.
Musk owns X.
Anymore questions? Do I need to illustrate with crayons?

And it’s an impossible equation for most Americans to pay more. Especially if things continue to downward spiral.
Where’s my eye patch?
- Comment on X.com blocks access to Ekrem Imamoglu, leader of Turkish opposition 4 weeks ago:
Nazi platform.
Make sure to stop clicking on Nazi links when people post them. No matter how bad you want to see someone “prank” someone or cry about their perceived persecution.
We need to stop making a Nazi platform important enough that it hurts democratic politicians when they lose access because of the Nazi in charge of said platform.

America has mostly, but not fully, capitulated to a felon rapist traitor.
Not yet.
- Comment on Donald Trump's approval rating collapses with rural Americans 4 weeks ago:
And rapist.
And coastal elite blue state born rich snob.
Things they’re supposed to hate. But hey, he said he hated the same people they do and constantly spews vile rhetoric that they like, and that’s all they needed to throw their support behind him.
These people are amoral. It’s that simple.

- Comment on Sales of Hard Drives for the End of the World Boom Under Trump 5 weeks ago:
Yup.
SSDs are not good for long term storage. “Old” disk drives are still king for long term.
- Comment on Sales of Hard Drives for the End of the World Boom Under Trump 5 weeks ago:
Yeah but if society collapses or there’s some long power outage (sup Texas) then this thing could be worth its weight in gold. More than its weight in gold.
- Comment on Sales of Hard Drives for the End of the World Boom Under Trump 5 weeks ago:
I mean, I could make tacos at home. Or I could pay a bit more to go pick them up somewhere. I could change my own oil, or I could have someone else do it.
I could spend time downloading all this data and uploading it to a hard drive I purchase. I know how to do it all. But for the price they’re charging for the drive and the service of gathering and uploading the data, it’s not that bad of a deal. Especially if you work a full time job and want to use your free time to not do a chore like this. I mean I’m pretty sure there’s torrents for Wikipedia. Not so sure about WikiHow.
If the price was higher I’d be complaining. It’s pretty reasonable. It’s a peace of mind thing without hassle for anyone with even a little extra cash lying around.

I mean he’s a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist who illegally attempted to overturn an election and is now tanking our economy.
So yeah, he’s traitorous scum.
