Attack on Titan starts off pretty unpredictable, but it later falls into its own formula that you can predict. The only thing that really was predictable from the start was what the titans actually are. It’s just the safest bet, and they don’t push the envelope with that. Being vague to not spoil it, even though this one has likely been seen by a majority of everyone already; possibly even OP.

I expressed almost the exact same thoughts around the game’s release after playing it (before it won the awards). The main thing that kept me going was the music and the story; and the story kinda fell flat for me once you discover the truth of the world. Certainly a 7/10 game, but not a 10/10 like the media around it suggests.
