I’m not ok with allowing a security loophole, they just call everything security and force it. It’s my device, I get to decide what software belongs on my.

And yet, we actually have the capacity now to provide for everyone’s needs without working anyone to death.
So why don’t we?

Let’s not mock people with appropriate sized trucks, even if they have silly tires. I’ll take this over a Ford RAM 5000 Gigamax rolling coal past me.

Like all ideologies idiots stick to the rules while forgetting the actual meaning behind them. Compare how Christians act to what their Christ taught.

- Comment on Is American politics really as seemingly satirical of itself as it is portrayed? 4 weeks ago:
90% of Americans are no better informed than you are on how realistic of a portrayal it is. In fact, I’ve met many people who are proud of how willfully ignorant they are of politics.

Could I replicate charged batteries, then plug them in? Or would it take more energy to make the battery than you could get out of it? After all a battery is just a chemical reaction.

That’s a good point. It can’t be replicated, right? Who controls the dilithium controls the universe, the dilithium must flow.

My understanding is that replicators restructure atoms. In which case an asteroid would be plenty of material for a ship, even if some of it is lost in the process.

However, whilst the the evidence base clearly demonstrates a positive direction in the effect, an overall magnitude of this effect is currently not deducible due to heterogeneity and lack of methodological rigour. More studies of a scientifically rigorous and homogenous nature are necessary, to provide the answer to the magnitude of effect.
