  could it have been a scam? there’s a scam where that happens and they do a ton of background research on your family and say “x is in custody and will be in jail unless you pay” and if you ask for proof they have information on like cars, houses, family tree, education, etc. depending on the scam center they can have like American accented people on the phone to sound more realistic perhaps they got it wrong?

  my cat always acts like she’s a year old and is pretty small for a cat (we assume she’s the runt)
  when we got her the pound said 2 years old (info from previous owner) but when we took her to the vet we got told that she’s actually about 5

  She’s about 7-8 now and still looks just as adorable as when I got her!!

  my favorite playful insult is “I just KNOW you got beef with your phones speech-to-text”, I live in Florida so it’s pretty common to talk to people with southern accents and they ALL get misunderstood when trying to send a text while driving or something and it’s hilarious

  My brother in law has a really southern accent from his dad and both me and my sister got the autistic trait of “adopt speaking patterns from people around you subconsciously” so we both sound like we’re making fun of him by accident sometimes without realizing 😭😭
