I’m sorry but if you’d like to have an argument you’ll have to pay.

“The guy made a million dollars!”
LarmyOfLone@lemm.ee 11 months ago
Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw rocks
Shardikprime@lemmy.world 11 months ago
I have to say it. That’s a really nice rock.
Well rounded
Uniform oval shape
Well distributed grain
Minimal color invariance
Pauli’s exclusion principle compliant
Higher than average support threshold
Aerodynamic
Hydrodynamic
No moss (that’s always a plus)
No visible cracks, dents or imperfections
Negative wobblyness
3 dimensional
Positive spinniness
Nice all around silicate spectrum
Higher than average (if not more) cold-handling potential
High end projectile index (above 0.95, that’s factoring window breaking potential)
Maximally grind factor (>0.82, that’s garlic grade)
Nutcracker performance with tolerable parameters
Accurate weather predictor (Fast drying is most)
Gravitationally bound to Earth system
Free range Baryonic matter contents
All around a solid, great pick. Only needs a banana for scale but thanks to the ±wow factor(i number values) any size variation would just only make it better
Rate: 5/7
7/7 with rice
Bro Rating: 🧢 🧢 🧢 🧢 🧢
Judgement: 👍

Why is moss bad?!
Shardikprime@lemmy.world 11 months ago
It’s not bad but has been deprecated since the 1987 US Solar system survey review from the 87-608 reports from Brown, Janet L., Framework and sedimentary moss patterns of the Rock Formations on Sol III
madjo@feddit.nl 11 months ago

hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 months ago
Source?
AllHailTheSheep@sh.itjust.works 11 months ago
I would describe it more as a well rounded piece of gravel, just calling it a rock disregards the geological implications of fluid transport and energy involved with a well rounded stone of that size.
ameancow@lemmy.world 11 months ago
Wow, just TYPICAL that one of “you people” would just IGNORE the fact that the object is actually an accumulation of particles that were formed in a number of astronomical events over billions of years, I guess you don’t even CARE about the rich history that went into this object and only care if it’s “well rounded.”
RangerJosey@lemmy.ml 11 months ago
It’s an egg
merdaverse@lemmy.world 11 months ago
The rock was clearly designed by an omnipotent God, and can’t be the product of chance
Scott_of_the_Arctic@lemmy.world 11 months ago
It’s clearly a rock coloured silicone egg for people with an oviposition fetish.
CherryBullets@lemmy.ca 11 months ago

letsgo@lemm.ee 11 months ago
The scale isn’t too clear from the image but it looks more like a pebble to me.
AlbertSpangler@lemmings.world 11 months ago
Oh that’s such a typical response from the kind of person in the subgroup I have now mentally assigned you to based off my preconceptions about anyone who gives descriptions of that stone that differ from mine!
MITM0@lemmy.world 11 months ago
But is it a rock ? Or an ancient dragon egg
mechoman444@lemmy.world 11 months ago
Everyone knows all rocks are flat this is just NASA propaganda.
drmoose@lemmy.world 11 months ago
Clearly it’s an egg of a momma stone
