I had heard that they had merged, but that was apparently bad info.

Meanwhile Renault, also a Stellantis brand, has made 2 Car of the Years back to back.

That sounds like a great solution to my current frustration that the autobackup feature of Immich on iOS is so opaque. It only works when the app is open and even then oftentimes you’re just staring at the backup screen while seemingly nothing is happening, despite Immich’s backlog of thousands of photos still needing to be uploaded.

I wrote the Dutch mnemonic not the actual Dutch word for multiplication etc.
“Antwoord” is “answer” in Dutch and Afrikaans
- Comment on Elon Musk Had Grok Rewrite Wikipedia. It Calls Hitler “The Führer.” 1 week ago:
Wikipedia isn’t using the term to describe Hitler on that page though, it’s not saying “The Fuhrer was an Austrian-born German politician who was the dictator of Germany during the Nazi era”. That’s the difference.
- Comment on Elon Musk Had Grok Rewrite Wikipedia. It Calls Hitler “The Führer.” 1 week ago:
correct, just like how the swastika was originally not a hate symbol. But nowadays, Germans would not refer to anyone as “Führer”, unless they’re (neo)nazis.
- Comment on Elon Musk Had Grok Rewrite Wikipedia. It Calls Hitler “The Führer.” 1 week ago:
even edgelord vacuous nazis are just that: nazis. No matter the reason, or if it’s meant “ironically”, they’re a nazi. There’s no excusing it, or softening it, they’re a full blown nazi.
He did the nazi salute on stage, at least twice, he holds extreme right-wing and white supremacist views, he is a nazi.

Best option is to just buy the book and not read it! That’s the best option for the publishers.

And PETA is soooooo ethical in their own treatment of animals. All of their shelters are no-kill shelters, right? Right?!
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
Plants communicate.
Those tears you shed when cutting onions is because of a defence mechanism of the onion, the scent you smell when cutting grass is another.
We also know that fungi and trees communicate with eachother as well. They even help eachother gain nutrients.

Has PETA ever asked lettuce if it gave consent to being eaten?
I mean, I’m all for a decreased consumption of meat, but PETA’s methods don’t work.
- Comment on Gmail users warned to opt out of new feature - what we know 2 weeks ago:
It would’ve been nice if malwarebytes had actually fact checked those steps to turn off smart features for the app on mobile. Because as they are right now, it only works on the desktop version of gmail.com despite what they claim in the steps themselves.
Here’s how to turn it off on iOS:
- Open the gmail app
- Tap on the hamburger menu (top left) and scroll all the way down and tap on "Settings"
- Go to “Data privacy” option in the settings menu (they omitted this step on Malwarebytes)
- Turn off “Smart features”
