I’m not trying to grade on potential but betting on human potential vs AI potential feels like it rewards ourselves for being better vs a machine. Would we have Albert Einstein if we didn’t have Isaac Newton?

If you want to use arch for the first time use an already setup distro like Manjaro.

So umm “make no idols before me” really took a 180⁰ turn in this capitalist hellscape. Its almost like Jesus was hippie commie who wanted peace in the middle east and not generations of war and bloodshed against the native inhabitants of Jerusalem and the west bank

In the bible belt*. Their bible apparently supports the idea that women are second class citizens

Idk this sounds like a euphemism about immigration in America. While we are seeing the outward effects of the Orange Orangutan policies against migrants, I see the deep pains our communities are suffering. Family separated and restaurants not staffed. While American citizens to the letter are being rounded up and imprisoned against their right to a fair trial. Gestapo by any other name is still Gestapo.
- Comment on YSK: Your local library card often gives you free access to streaming services, digital magazines, audiobooks, and even online courses. 2 weeks ago:
I was gonna mention my library organization others free museum passes, usually up to four tickets to bring children or friends. They even offer tickets to local concerts and shows. My friend and I went to a free showing of the orchestra! Please don’t flood the ticket site because there’s already a lot of competition for free tickets

I also floss for the week leading up to the dentist lol

My raft is gonna be contemporary, only using Styrofoam, even the rum is Styrofoam because thats all I can afford.

I got a F for plagiarism when I looked up the wiki and dived deeper into the sources and tried to incorporate the ideas and not trying to copy word for word. Apparently 65% was flagged as direct plagiarism from Wiki when I used the sources to write my essay. I was in 6th grade

It was a weird childhood, I was 8 when Obama was installed as president. I remember people talking about George Bush Jr and the wars he started in Afghanistan and Al Qaeda. Big gap in between Obama’s presidency and then 2012 shooting of Sandy Hook. And abt every school shooting of the 2010s after that sadly. Also I really want to vote for Mitt Romney but I was 12 and brainwashed by my parents. Now that I’m on a form of obamacare I don’t remember any issues with him. I would re-elect for a third term

Lol I walked around this winter in the snow and thought, “this won’t be here in 13 years”. Very specific but feels probably true

Nah I get flashbacks of the old west and colonial New York. They mean literally less than nothing but I get glimpse of a past and it feels like déjà vu. Maybe I just have an over active imagination and read too many books

I think the greatest advantage of this is to probably watch a few episodes of show before committing to downloading it especially long series or quick movies. Does everyone in the world need backups of movies and TV shows? I know seeding is an important factor to passing media along but it also feels like hoarding and I’m not a hoarder. It feels like a fine line to cross

I loved when a class would get quiet enough to hear the seconds hand click on the mechanical motor. I lived to see how close it was to the end of minute. One time in class I counted how black dots were on the ceiling. Wow I was bored

An average draft goes for $7-11 dollars in my city. And the $11 drafts are served in a smaller chalice than the cheaper stuff. I usually buy a 12 pack of beer for $24 from the store and get drunk at home when I can afford it.

You guys are only working 8hrs? What a life to have. The company I use to work for extended their store hours in 6pm so 8-6 was typical with no overtime pay. Woww saying this out loud really makes me want to unionize.

And that is all I’ve ever wanted, but not having a bachelor’s degree and two masters means I’m unemployable to 90% of corporations. I have been coding since I was 14 but that doesn’t matter in terms of experience on job applications. After 11 years of dead end jobs that I could never live off, I’m living with my older sister who has a bachelor’s degree and 2 masters and owns her house. So that how lifting yourself up by your bootstraps goes, a very common American myth is that something comes from nothing.
