I would think yes as any animal that scavenges would have a higher rabies infection chance. Wasn’t absolutely sure so I found some sources.

With every project you do that is over your head you are brute forcing more that just the project. You are shaping yourself. The knowledge gained is a hard fought win! Those are the ones that stick with us the most. The ones that teach us that we can do anything, if we stick with it long enough.
As you continue to learn and progress with anything it is important to remember what you have accomplished and what it took to get there.

This is basically the reason i picked my lemmy nom de plume. A sad small quip to remind myself and maybe others that they have made truth out of lies and lies out of truth.

To expand on this with some small context albeit way older than the Romans. Egyptians gave the Peleset land in the Levant. Theorised that they were warrior peoples of the sea and the Philistines of biblical text somewhere in the late second millennium BC before the bronze age colapse. There is an incredible documentary by Pete Kelly (History Time) on youtube. Well worth the watch. Another great video he did about the Akkadians called The first Empire. He also did a great video about the Hittites. His whole channel is a goldmine of knowledge of the ancient world.
Any way the ancient world is filled with peoples from all over, moving around. Trade was a major factor. War was another. People from all over the Mediterranean and beyond mixed knowledge, their trades, their crafts, blood on battlefields and likely genes. Probably long before there was a written word pressed in clay.
Were all muts.

Ukraine should make a deal with the EU for those minerals. Their word still means something, the US makes empty promises it has no intention of keeping.

Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization. I say your civilization because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization which is of course what this is all about. Evolution, Morpheus, evolution, like the dinosaur. Look out that window. You had your time. The future is our world, Morpheus. The future is our time.

Remember back in the day when you could get apple users emails through a simple number incrimination in i believe the app store website?
The documentary The Hacker Wars highlighted the issue and if i remember weev went to jail for it. I probably need to rematch it again.
Also if people are interested in that kind of documentary The Internet’s Own Boy is a heartbreakingly excellent story of what the US put Allen Schwartz through.
- Comment on Apple, Microsoft Joining Google Using Gulf of America in Maps Programs 2 months ago:
That’s exactly how I think of it, Americans are the peoples of the America’s, North, Central and South. The people in the US should not hold a monopoly on that name as it somehow infers that the rest of the Americas are somehow less American and their just not. Maybe I’m looking at it wrong as i grew up in the US and we regularly refer to ourselves as american and the rest of the America’s just don’t do that because of our cultural and linguistic differences. Maybe more a remnant of imperialism than a quark of the english language.

OsmAnd still holding out! I will never not call it the Gulf of Mexico.
I think the world should stop calling USians americans. America is a huge place spanning 2 continents encompassing so many different cultures uniquely American. I always thought it was weird calling Mexicans in the US, Mexican American. It’s like saying American American. Wouldn’t Mexicans in Mexico also be Mexican Americans? Just never felt right to me.
