This reminded me that it’s not uncommon for deaf people to think the sun is very loud, especially during hot days. It’s obviously not scientifically logical, but I really understand it. It can feel loud in a way.

I can assure you that the sun is right fucking loud, my skin burning under its violent rays proves this. Or maybe I’m just paler than death because I’m descended from Celts, Norse, and Germans while being a night owl.

I have no idea what you’re talking about but there’s no way I’m wading through that stomach churning despair and horror again. It was an amazing story but the number of scenes that made me want to cry and scrape myself clean in the shower was far too many
