As a psychiatrist, I have a theory about what’s missing in AI. First, it lacks childhood dependency and attachments. Second, it struggles to overcome repeated pain and suffering. Third, it lacks regular eating and restroom breaks. Fourth, it struggles to accept loss in everyday situations. Finally, it lacks the concept of our inevitable death. Without these nagging memories and concepts, machines will simply revert to the simpler concepts we use them for in our recent times, such as stealing cryptocurrency. After all, we live in a world run by capitalism, so it’s only logical. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The proper way to escalate this joke is to start sending a six pack of beans after they’ve called and complained to DoorDash.
I would be to take the excess beans after the first delivery and reuse them to drop them off at your parents. Then point out they’re clearly eating the beans if after every delivery there’s a few cans missing.

Thanks, I would really appreciate knowing her thoughts on it as someone else with OCD. As long as I can still function with Abilify, Buspar made me so tired that I started napping for three hours a day, on top of my regular sleep schedule. I’m not even a napper, lol.
