People did all the time when they first started making white bread. They would put a piece of that inbtween two pieces of coarse whole grain bread. It doesn’t sound palatable now because our palettes are so corrupted with sugar. Well, yours presumably are.

It’s oddly good. To do it right use unsalted butter and then add season with salt and pepper once the butter is melted.

I still do this. I save easily $200/month eating it 3 days a week. Pro tip: the bread and bologna at Aldis is S tier and with the right addons and seasonings it’s a fantastic light meal.

Uh, your average breakfast in the U.S. was basically a shitload of protein. Idk about you but I definitely like pork, oatmeal, fried potatoes, eggs — with a couple pieces of toast that’s all I need in current year.

I feel like this would be pretty good. Toast is pretty good. So you just make some good toast and then you sandwich it between some fresh soft bread. And then you have this soft outside with a crunchy buttery caramelized toast inside, I think it could be good if you were craving some toast and wanted to jazz it up.
