  I landed on Mint after Ubuntu gave me some grief right after installing it and I wasn’t in the mood to chase it around. Mint installed super easy and has given me no trouble at all. It does what I do with a computer just fine.

  It was. Linux Mint has been beautiful since I switched last year. Certainly nicer than windows.

  It’s not as simple as that. Where money comes from and goes to are complicated enough, but paying $100k sponsorship, per year, per person hired from abroad would be just like adding that sum to their payroll, and that would monkey wrench the gears spectacularly.

  This doesn’t just affect corporations, it will also severely impact universities who hire professors and lecturers from all over the world on this type of visa. Schools are not going to be able to afford this, further eroding the quality of higher education in the US.

  Dad had lots of porn, mags, movies, stories, not especially hidden. I turned out healthy enough, and I don’t particularly have any hangups. I will say that at least mainstream porn was much friendlier than a lot of the new stuff. I’m late Gen X, btw.
