Didn’t take much space, lol I remember the huge cases people used to buy to store them all.

Not when parked. A cat would thi k it was a parked car.

When you infantilize an entire species and see them as unworthy of having basic freedom. Hopefully one day you have your “am I the baddy” moment.

There is probably an elevated risk of killing cats in any electric vehicle because there are fewer signs that the car is “on” and about to drive.

Great point. People have too much freedom, too many options. If we restrict what they can have access to, then we can protect them. People can’t be trusted to make the right decisions for themselves. We need to reshape the system into a place where people can only expend resources as long as it benefits society. We need to test down this system of stupid predatory dolls that take advantage of people.

I’m sorry, but this is a silly take.
This is an issue with choices that individuals are making…
There are so so so many different ways to fuck up your life and they are not all because of “the system”.
I could see the argument that underfunding education has led to there being a greater number of people who make poor choices… But that’s about it.
- Comment on Clock logic 3 months ago:
24 hour analogue clocks exist. I have a 24 hour watch which only revolves once per 24 hours. It’s a disadvantage though.
The reason why clocks and watches display 12 hours at a time is so that they have space to show finer resolution of time. If you try to cram 24 hours onto a clock, it’s not easy to tell if it’s 12:20 or 12:30 at a quick glance.
Most people are not too stupid to be aware of if they are in the first 12 hours or second 12 hours of a day, so they benefit from a watch with 12 hour timescale and finer resolution so that they can more easily see exactly what time it is.
And for all the dummies posting about 12h vs 24h clocks. In the sense of saying that it’s 1pm vs 13:00. That’s not what this meme is even describing. This is about the physical layout of a clock or watch face.
