Can I get an explanation of what it feels like to be happy and angry?

Hell yeah. I might have gone with Everglade but I’m just glad L7 is represented.

Easy, be me.

Morphine should be as far to the right as they are to the left. Not sure what the original creator of the chart was thinking.

Yeah, I really don’t get that choice either. There’s a bunch I disagree with, bit that one was the worst imo. Def very horny though

I may not fully agree with your chart, but i love the effort that went into this
tino@lemmy.world 10 months ago
No Doubt got my teenage brain horny

Didn’t Mike Patton from Faith No More eat a tampon from L7?
So I guess that makes sense they’re close.

Glad to see Blur blurring the line

I would but deftones in horny tbh. Especially on the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. Everyone was horny on that soundtrack.

Just go here.

I wonder where Linkin Park would fit
failsatfunny@lemm.ee 10 months ago
If Dave Matthews was on this list it would just replace the word Horny.

Type-O-Negative had its most popular moments in the 90’s. I think the placement would be quite horny and fairly sad. (If it were Carnivore and the 80’s, the scale would implode because it doesn’t accommodate very angry but really horny.)

Bad Religion, for the endless ranting raging. Suffer is an epic album. fuckin 1982 for real.
RizzoTheSmall@lemm.ee 10 months ago
Blink 182 veered wildly to the right towards 2012. They’re mostly back on the left again now, though.

No wonder I listen to a lot of Foo Fighters.

So like, is Ween not on here because they’re off the charts horny?
Manmoth@lemmy.ml 10 months ago
Ween is on the Z axis

I miss Chris Cornell. He was all of those emotions all at once.

I’m guessing the reason that The Cure (debut LP from 1979) is on this list is that it was made by an american, that first heard them because of “Friday I’m in Love”?
RizzoTheSmall@lemm.ee 10 months ago
I would say rather than “sad” that Deftones is Angry Horny with songs like Knife Party and Change In The House Of Flies etc. but the chart puts them opposing 🤷
tomkatt@lemmy.world 10 months ago
I’m just glad Veruca Salt made the list.
Also, I dunno if I’d lump Sublime into the “happy/horny” category. They’re more on the “sad/horny” side of the chart.
eezeebee@lemmy.ca 10 months ago
Sad music is the best. Deftones are way more horny than angry.
