Imagine the male version of this with all the “socks babies” waiting for you. Can we still consider “that” heaven?
I'm now concerned about the billions I flushed in my teen years...

So every man would have a gazillion strong army in heaven? The men would all play Totally Accurate Battle Simulator against each other but with babies.

I remember being 13 or so and i was at my friends place for the first time. They had a cool house and his room was really far away from everything. He opened the door to his room and said: so, here is my nintendo, bed, and there behind the door is where i shoot all my unborn babies into the carpet. I turned around to look, just to see his mom standing there behind the door with a laundry basket.
WashedOver@lemmy.ca 1 year ago
I thought this was going to end with the same never washed sock, not the actual carpet…
Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Definitely not. It would be at least 90% screaming babies.

So does all of the nut in my bedside trashcan gonna be waiting for me in heaven with half chromosome bodies or some shit?

Bob Marley said “rub it pon de belly like guava jelly”.

Still better than a Trump inbred

From a religious nut job perspective life begins at conception, not ejaculation, so you’re safe.

The Morning After Pill is is technically not contraception as it happens after conception but prevents the embryo from attaching to the uterus wall (or something like that)
Curiousfur@yiffit.net 1 year ago
I thought its purpose was to tell the body to not ovulate as it simulates hormonal pregnancy, which is why it can also have rough side effects after. The copper IUD prevents an ovum from implanting in the uterine wall. The MAP does not prevent one getting pregnant if the egg has already dropped.
Disclaimer, I’m a guy and writing this on my morning commute, so if I’m wrong, please chime in and correct me.
LesserAbe@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Not sure if this is where you’re going with this, but some pro life advocates view contraception that prevents the implantation of a fertilized egg as an abortion (and hence murder)

Bible says at first breath. You’re wrong.
LesserAbe@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Where in the Bible are you referring to?
I’m an atheist now but was a handful of credit hours away from finishing my bachelor’s degree in “Bible”. There’s a verse in Genesis that talks about God breathing life into Adam, but that’s not talking about all humans.

From the scientific perspective, humans oscillate between haploid forms and diploid forms, all equally human.
Rodeo@lemmy.ca 1 year ago
Are haploid forms really considered complete? They literally have half the genetic material, don’t they? So you could say they are half as human.

If you need to use it that often you might need to go check a video explaining how to put on a condom…

I like how it’s “a” penis
implying it’s not yours

I would be totally okay with seeing a painting of breastfeeding in the workplace. There is nothing sexual about it.
syd@lemy.lol 1 year ago
NSFW is “not safe for work”. Like an office where you work with people, probably staring to monitor side by side.

And today it’s anti abortion propaganda
sagrotan@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Their names were “Tissue 1 to 1.765.847.752 ½” don’t ask about the “½”, had a bad day, back in '99
charonn0@startrek.website 1 year ago
If aborted babies automatically go straight to heaven, then what’s the problem? Sounds like a neat loophole.

Looks like religious conservative “pro-life” propaganda to me. ಠ_ಠ
Nepenthe@kbin.social 1 year ago
Originally it was, but like with most propaganda people like this come up with, İ fail to see the problem. Imagine your parents giving you the chance to be born and grow up in actual Heaven, having never been at the mercy of...*gestures vaguely at everything*....and that's supposed to be bad parenting.
That's apparently the evil option. The good parenting option is the one with all the murder and starvation and the constant risk of sin and therefore hell. You're giving your child the opportunity to go to hell if you have it here, instead of just automatically sending it to heaven like you could.
*I* know what I want for my child.
Prunebutt@feddit.de 1 year ago
Isn’t that the same thought process that could lead you to mass murder a bunch of folk? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
