Same but with internet radio. Most big public universities have a radio station, and mirror it on an internet radio stream. I’ve just looked up various universities across the continent and found ones that actually have good human DJs.

- Comment on YSK: there's a browser extension called "SingleFile", which allows you to save a page into a single HTML file. 2 weeks ago:
I use this to save the job listing of every job I apply to, for reference when I get a call back and the listing has been taken down. You can highlight a section of the page and it smartly saves just the page content needed to contain the highlighted portion. Really keeps the size down.

I saw it uninentionally and it was horrifying. It’s always horrifying to see such a thing, no matter who it is.

Does anyone have video of this? (This conversation, not the shooty part) All the news media are quoting this while referring to a video but not showing it.

- Comment on Still booting after all these years: The people stuck using ancient Windows computers 4 months ago:
They seemingly wanted to design the entire interface around touchscreen 2-in-1s. If you went in a Microsoft store around the time windows 8 came out, they were leaning really hard into the 2-in-1s. I got a surface pro 3 at that time that I used to take handwritten notes in school, and the windows 8 interface was honestly awesome with that use case. On my desktop PC, though, I held out updating from 7 until windows 10.
