Six limbs: four “legs” (two front limbs and two hind limbs) and two wings.
If the wings are limbs, shouldn't insects be considered to have 8-10?

Yeah, he’s not fucking real.
But a lot of insects have wings that dont go toward the foots count.
She’s a lizard? Just like winged dinosaurs don’t count as insects, even if they have four legs.
winged dinosaurs have four limbs: their wings and two hind legs. This is true of pterosaurs and birds
Wings in invertebrates developed differently from those in vertebrates. Yes, vertebrates’ wings developed from their forelimbs (birds, bats, etc.), but invertebrates’ wings are a separate system entirely. Hence ants have 6 legs, whether they have wings or not.
If that were true, wouldn’t the bane of arthopods enchantment deal extra damage to the dragon?
They should add it, it would make the enchantment actually usefull.
I like to keep one around if i need to clear an abandoned mineshaft. Sometimes its worth it as a way to reroll your enchants while still getting something you can use early on.
I think George RR Martin commented about 6 appendage dragons and how he doesn’t approve of them.
It clearly pissed him off enough that he refuses to finish the next book.
She’s a mythical creature, she probably belongs to her own category.
Perhaps the wings are articulated ribs?
Tbh i would slap this insect in my home with my fly swatter only if it wouldn’t set my house on fire every time i approach it
