irl shower thought
I already communicate without speech, I’m doing it right now to someone I’ve never met and don’t know the identity of, who is receiving only the thoughts I wish to share. Why would I go beyond that?
Besides, I can also share thoughts with those I do know without speech. I text my wife wheb I don’t want the kids to hear our joke, I can even include pictures to get the message across if I don’t have the words.
I have a brain computer interface. It’s called fingers. I can use my brain powers to communicate and even move moderately sized things with them.
You are not inside your brain. That’s an outdated concept. You are your entire body.
Can’t wait to have my thoughts hacked. “Hey guys! I’ve just decided super-techno-fascism is a fantastic system and I’m so glad to be living under it. Cyber-Leader is great!”
“Haha, this guy left the password on his brain the default admin:admin and I gave him memories of a wife and kids he doesn’t actually have.”
Should be relatively simple to fuck with that interface though. After all, if you have access to the hardware, no system is truly safe. We’ll have enough tinkerers and thinkers that will probably come from the same rich core that gives us FLOSS developers, and they’ll have some real fun coming up with ways to fuck with anyone trying to read the machine.
