So if you vote against him, you lose citizenship and he gets 100% off the votes?

Just earlier I was reading about this website hosted on solar power and the extremes they went through to get the website to be simple so very little data is transmitted to save precious watts.

I was fine with pre-roll ads and mid roll ads. Then YouTube became ultra greedy during Covid when tons of people watching, they went from 1-3 ads per video to 30 ads for a 30 minute video (2 ads every 2 minutes). What the fuck.
I installed adblocker because they did that. YouTube was not watchable at all. Sucks, because I didn’t mind supporting the platform and creator, but their greed ruined that.
- Comment on Google is intentionally throttling YouTube videos, slowing down users with ad blockers 1 week ago:
That’s my problem, you have to be logged in if you pay and that’s just more data for them to suck up. I watch not logged in. If I want to comment I use a different device.
- Comment on Plex has paywalled my server! 1 week ago:
I just wonder if plex will ever sell the list of movies and IP address of everyone. Many people have the ARRs to auto download, even stuff still in theaters. What good is a VPN when plex knows your email and IP.
- Comment on what would it take for you to take back a partner who cheated on you ? 2 weeks ago:
Relationships are built on trust. Cheating breaks that trust. That trust will never fully come back 100%. There so always be doubt and it will never be the same.

I would much rather have legal immigration be easier, cheaper, faster.
Let them in, let them work, let them pay taxes, let them be free and part of the country they want to be in. They want to be here so badly they are willing to commit the crime of being here illegally and working hard for very little money. it’s gross how often they are taken advantage of.
- Comment on Google confirms more ads on your paid YouTube Premium Lite soon 3 weeks ago:
I used to watch YouTube with ads since they added ads. It wasn’t too bad.
Then during the start of Covid tons of people watched YouTube and googles greedy eyes lit up… they went from 1-3 (skipable) ads per video to ads every minute of video. I was like WHAT THE F&$@… then installed unlock.
I couldn’t believe their greed.
I also spent Covid downloading (yt-dlp) every video I wanted to archive for offline, I’m worried for a time we loose YouTube. 99% of the things I loved about the internet is dead now, someday it will happen to YouTube too.

- Comment on Gemini will now automatically summarize your long emails unless you opt out 4 weeks ago:
So this is why I got an email that was completely wrong.
I told a guy I used to work for that I moved and it’s the perfect place to help him and his company.
He replied that he hopes I found a house where I used to live.
wtf it’s like he never read the email at all, now that this AI trash was added, the email makes sense.
I guess he is fucked and doesn’t get the help he needs for his company.

When I installed the Linux version of “7 days to die” the graphics were washed out and bad. I switched to the Linux version with proton and it fixed the game.

That’s sad. People blind to the abuse and deal with it or ignore it.

If you pay premium, then you have to be logged in and tracked and spied on and even more four data get sold. You pay them to sell your data!

- Comment on Nintendo Anti-Piracy Policy Device Lock Update Warns of Console Bricks for Unauthorized Use 1 month ago:
Back on the mid 2000s I had a PSP, it was awesome. I hacked it and ripped all my games to the memory, so I can have all my games with me. I didn’t like having to bring the delicate UMD, so hacking it really made the device ultimate for me. Also I mostly collect physical games, really don’t like digital only. This gave me the ability to have both.

- Comment on Moving servers and rack equipment 1 month ago:
I just moved across states.
I took everything apart, packed the equipment in boxes using tons of padding. Any extra space in the boxes was filled with extra cables and more padding. Rack mounts that I have come completely apart.
My main servers have hard drives, so I used a lot of foam all around the server and added trackers (air tags) to the servers and my camera stuff.
I’m now off grid so not really in a hurry to setup all this stuff, but happy it seems to have made it here in great condition. Eventually I will setup the rack mounts just to hold the equipment and maybe I will power on things here and there as I feel like playing with them again.

I agree completely, but I did read something tried to be sneaked into an update, and you never really know, software is complicated and maybe some roundabout way to have an exploit using code that looks like it’s intent was something different.
