It is true. Women’s pants with big pockets are freely available, just do a Google shopping search and you’ll see. American Eagle, Gap, Abercrombie, Forever 21, Old Navy, H&M, Ann Taylor, Dickies, Patagonia, Levi’s, and the list goes on. All these retailers sell baggy and loose pants with big pockets.
Also worth noting, Y2K fashion is very in with younger people and you’ll see them wearing a lot of baggy pants, I’m talking JNCO baggy.
So why aren’t big-pocketed pants the standard in women’s fashion? It’s simple: women tend to want slimmer pants. It’s just a consumer decision.

Straight leg and baggy jeans with big pockets are plenty available for women.

Not according to me, I’ve had a pretty good track record of predicting what will and won’t happen.

If we’re willing to give Lincoln a pass for being a product of his time, doesn’t the average person living in the south also deserve it?
Probably. I’ve heard arguments about whether to judge people according to modern standards or the standards of their time, and I think it’s important to do both. History is complicated, human beings even more so. I think we should all work a little more towards understanding people without condoning or condemning.

- Comment on Kids nowadays don't have many (if any) videogame heroes... 3 days ago:
I think there are still plenty of protagonists aimed at kids. But since the industry has grown so much since we were kids, and because media is so fractured and niche these days, you and I just don’t play those games as adults.

- Comment on [deleted] 4 days ago:
People act like English is the only language that has borrowed vocabulary or inconsistent conjugation and pronunciation, when a lot of languages are just the same.

Webflow is a SaaS application that allows designers to build responsive websites with browser-based visual editing software. While designers use the tool, Webflow automatically generates HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Websites built on Webflow are powered by Amazon Cloudfront and hosted on Fastly. Webflow is an all-in-one platform with a CMS built in. It does not require external plugins.
- Comment on In Movies and TV shows, its always ambiguous if someone is dead or merely knocked out. 6 days ago:
I think oftentimes the point is that it’s ambiguous.
- Comment on Why does it seem like every other post on here is deleted shortly after being posted? 6 days ago:
Because once the responses start rolling in, people realize that they asked a stupid question.

I remember this from Gen 3, which is as far as I’ve played. I’m curious what other mechanics are around now that people consider must-haves.

Most likely, same as if a married woman were elected. Hillary Clinton said Bill probably would have been called First Gentleman.

- Comment on How would legal procedure change if every citizen eligible for jury duty was aware of jury nullification? 1 week ago:
Have you ever been selected for jury duty? I haven’t, so I can’t speak to the screening process.
In cases of capital punishment I wouldn’t be surprised if they screen out people who are against it, since it would be a conflict of interest. A jury’s only purpose is to determine whether someone is guilty of a crime, not to weigh in on sentencing. Although I’m pretty sure sentencing comes later anyway.
- Comment on How would legal procedure change if every citizen eligible for jury duty was aware of jury nullification? 1 week ago:
Everyone being aware of it doesn’t mean it would happen all the time. I’m very aware of it and if selected I would still hear the case as dispassionately and impartially as possible, as I view a jury trial as a civic duty and an important cornerstone of criminal justice.
But I suspect the question you’re really asking is “What if every juror refused to convict in any crime?” And the answer to that question is that jury trials would no longer be a thing if juries weren’t useful. Judges would hear the cases and rule themselves (and judges already rule summarily in many trials today).
- Comment on We don't need AI 1 week ago:
What we refer to as “AI” today, i.e. large language models (because the definition of “AI” has changed over the years), is just a search engine that can understand natural language. Think the Enterprise computer on Star Trek, but even smarter. That’s extremely useful once we work out the final kinks.

I bet you put tomatoes in fruit salad don’t you?
- Comment on Would you rather have a pet dinosaur or a pet dragon? 1 week ago:
They’re literally dinosaurs in the same way that humans and other animals are literally fish. Which is to say you can describe them that way taxonomically, but the saying “birds are literally dinosaurs” is misleading and disingenuous.
- Comment on Deep Space Nine season 2 appreciation post 2 weeks ago:
One of the best things about DS9 season 2 is the little hints about the Dominion that they drop here and there. Really adds an ominous feeling and makes their introduction hit so right. Then of course, “The Jem’Hadar” is one of my favorite episodes.

Granted, it’s entirely possible for individual variation or for a woman to eat larger portions than she needs, but that’s true of either sex.
