1 - Never owned an encyclopedia. Used one many times, owned all sort of other books that agglomerate knowledge, but never owned one.

- But some are only like once in my parents basenent for fun. Technically 8. I technically sent fax to doctors for work. As in, i physically deliver it to them as austria banned doctors from using fax, and clearly, the only solution is to walk there in this day and age.

1, We don’t have blockbuster in NL. But 0 if any other VHS rental store counts.
I even have an old rotary phone on my desk.
Witziger_Waschbaer@feddit.org 1 year ago
Does it work? I also have one and it was super easy to connect it to my router and use it. My wife likes to call me on it when my phone is on silent, hard to miss that ring haha.
LordWiggle@lemmy.world 1 year ago
No clue. I have no way of connecting it, I don’t have a land-line. I was thinking of converting it to a mic and headphone speaker for my eurorack. So add jack plugs on some wire.

Why are people attacking me so much online today?
Patrik@lemm.ee 1 year ago
- Surprising, because I’m Gen Z, but I have used typewriters and Walkmen.
qbus@lemmy.world 1 year ago
So you’re a hipster? How’s your vinyl collection? /S
Patrik@lemm.ee 1 year ago
I’m not a hipster, just like old tech. However, my vinyl collection is doing well, thank you. Some military marches, some classical, and several Johnny Cash.

Only 18 because #13 and #20 weren’t a thing in my country.
dellish@lemmy.world 1 year ago
- Would have been 2 but I was a member of Video Ezy.

One. Because in Germany, we did not have Blockbuster…
porous_grey_matter@lemmy.ml 1 year ago
Germany is cheating, you only need to be like 20 to get most of this list
SilverShark@lemmy.world 1 year ago
I just replaced it with my local video rental shop and counted that I did it. I felt that the question was more into the spirit of asking if you have rented a movie from a shop on physical media rather then being focus on the actual Blockbuster store.

For “listened to a boombox outside,” does it matter whether you did so voluntarily or just heard it because someone else was playing one too loudly for you to ignore? In other words, I’m either 0 or 1.
grimoire@lemmy.zip 1 year ago

I literally just wrote a check today to pay for a vehicle inspection. And a couple recently to pay some contractors for some house repairs
