  2. My area had upgraded to DTMF exchanges too soon for me to use a rotary phone, and my parents were to cheap to own an encyclopedia when you could just go to the library to read one, although we did have a few of those encyclopedias on CDs over the years

  I literally just wrote a check today to pay for a vehicle inspection. And a couple recently to pay some contractors for some house repairs

  1 - Never owned an encyclopedia. Used one many times, owned all sort of other books that agglomerate knowledge, but never owned one.

  9. But some are only like once in my parents basenent for fun. Technically 8. I technically sent fax to doctors for work. As in, i physically deliver it to them as austria banned doctors from using fax, and clearly, the only solution is to walk there in this day and age.

  1, We don’t have blockbuster in NL. But 0 if any other VHS rental store counts.

    Does it work? I also have one and it was super easy to connect it to my router and use it. My wife likes to call me on it when my phone is on silent, hard to miss that ring haha.

      No clue. I have no way of connecting it, I don’t have a land-line. I was thinking of converting it to a mic and headphone speaker for my eurorack. So add jack plugs on some wire.

      I’m not a hipster, just like old tech. However, my vinyl collection is doing well, thank you. Some military marches, some classical, and several Johnny Cash.

    I just replaced it with my local video rental shop and counted that I did it. I felt that the question was more into the spirit of asking if you have rented a movie from a shop on physical media rather then being focus on the actual Blockbuster store.
