I’d say waiting for an ambulance while a loved one dies in front of you just because assholes wouldn’t get out of the way is more annoying. No doubt followed by some health insurance bullshit that makes zero sense in any other country. But no, it’s the tourist who’s wrong.
- Comment on Anyone remember how popular the group Head Cleaner was? 3 weeks ago:
From what I recall Play Both Sides was their only album, but virtually everyone had a copy so they must have been pretty good!
- Comment on I was a British tourist trying to leave America. Then I was detained, shackled and sent to an immigration detention centre 3 weeks ago:
Doing payroll would be you performing a transaction in another country to people in that other country. At no point are you performing work where you receive remuneration in the country you’re visiting - which is the point of working visas. Just because you did a bit of paperwork for your work back home doesn’t mean you’re violating tourist visa conditions.

“We the people” voted for it! There was no big reveal after the election; it was well known that Project 2025 was the goal. Anyone who says otherwise had their head in the sand for the last 6 months.

I’d suggest they know growth of the platforms is waning, if not going backwards, but if they create a heap of bots and call them “active users” then the share price won’t go down. That’s the only reason I can think of.

They have a concept of quitting.
- Comment on Who was our worst Prime Minister and why? Any notable state leaders we need to add? 5 months ago:
Even better, the state government STILL subsidies these private companies that now own once-public property. I am so fucking sick of every bill I get being about $200 before counting any usage I may have had. This is simply not sustainable, and would be easily fixable if all utilities were state-owned.
