Also, I haven’t done test on the lastest software version but edits didn’t fediversed back then.

Nothing like etiquette but if you want your post to be readable, some best practice: Have a shortish first paragraph that would be the title of the post on the threadiverse. Mind that it will also appear as the first paragraph in the content of the post.
Your toot must not be an answer or it won’t fediverse. All answers to your fediversing toot on the twittoverse side should be consider comment on the threadiverse side. But depending on how well both instances are federating, not every answer might show up both sides.
Usually, first level answer toots fediverse well into Lemmy (and I supposed to any threadiverse software) but not all Lemmy fist level comment reach the twittoverse. Deeper answers might fediverse or not fediverse depending on too many factors for us to expect too see them.If you want to have a rich conversations, and interact fully back to people answering you, you better have also a threadiverse account.
And a rule of thumb to ensure federation of a community to your instance, whether you’re also on the threadiverse or you’re on the twittoverse, is to subscribe to the community before posting anything.
If noone from your instance is subscribe the federation barely exist and you can’t be sure that posts are share between instances. Here is a community dedicated to the kind of test you’re doing: !testfediverse@jlai.lu

It doesn’t work well if it is not in the post itself. Here a community where you are free to test it as much as you want !testfediverse@jlai.lu

Don’t take it too personaly. In the absence of complex filtering tools instance and community admin have to improvise to keep with their wished éditorial ligne.
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
Yes, it is nice to see that if you post or comment on a community at least a personn will answer you. This is enough to convince the least lurkers of us, the first step for an active community.

Nah ! They are at least 8.

You don’t have to start your own community (lemmy’s subreddit) if you feel it is too niche. Find or start a broder one where your niche content will fit. That way, your content has a home and more lemming will be attracted to it.
If you want to start your own community, you can only do it on your home instance: reddthat.com

Universities all over the world own their fair share of regional and national network. They also host a lot of services however in most of study field the student are not educated about it and go for corporate solutions. Professor may know about it but they are not sensibilised enough to understand they should teach to choose these tools

I’ve got the same question.
You could sit confortably to eat on a bed. But you can’t do it in the bed. And whatever is your posture to eat, it is one you’ll take to chill in a bed. So what the point? Why put crumbs, sticky stuff and beverage to a bed that will to be confortable ?
