I’m not a libertarian and I want everything to be free. If I have an idea on how to make a device that betters the lives of those around me, why the hell would I keep it to myself or try to become rich off it?

- Comment on Adobe Creative Curse 1 week ago:
Why justify when you can switch to other apps? Even with pirating you’re still supporting them and their stranglehold on the creative industry. Fuck em proper.

A better question would be is it even possible to do in the first place?

I wasn’t looking for dirt, I was genuinely curious as to why you were having that experience. I’m not attacking you, just giving you my opinion which is ironic… Of course self reflection isn’t for everyone and it’s often easier to assume our problems are all external, but in reality it’s usually a bit of both. Anyway, I hope your experience here gets better.

Doing a quick look through your comment history paints the picture that you’re likely the issue since your responses are often vaguely or overtly aggressive. Snide and snark.
- Comment on Are Nintendo's $80 online game prices a result of tariffs or is Nintendo just using them as an excuse to price gouge as corporations do? 2 weeks ago:
They’re holding pre-orders due to tariffs so expect prices to increase further.
I know y’all love Nintendo, but they’re no different than any other giant corporation; greed is the reason prices go up.

This is likely easily remedied with an extension to tell Peacock you’re on a supported system. Artificial incompatibility.

Teachers can’t teach outside a prepackaged, purchased curriculum. It’s not their fault.

1 step guide: Linux
Yes yes I know it’s not, but still easier and faster than setting up a new Windows install, getting drivers and installing updates.
- Comment on OpenAI's move to allow generating "Ghibly stlye" images isn't just a cute PR stunt. It is an expression of dominance and the will to reject and refuse democratic values. It is a display of power 3 weeks ago:

Lack of intelligence isn’t the issue. Take the dumbest person you know and imagine they’re trapped in a room with no visible escape path. They panic and start destroying whatever’s in the room. They damage themselves in a fit trying to escape. Now take that same scenario but put in small creature comforts and distractions. Now your dumb friend isn’t panicking or fighting to get out. He’s still trapped and his intelligence neither helped or harmed his situation. This is what’s happened over the last 100 years, and it’s accelerated to decline.

Oh I understand. You’re the one doing the mental gymnastics to try and normalize a system that exploits basic needs as get rich quick schemes that just do happen to only be available to a select few that have the money to play. Even now calling it basic economics as if that system is inherent to existence.

Your “friend” still paid a substantial portion of your mortgage and gained nothing from it beyond being out of the rain. You used him and paint it as mutually beneficial.
