Colour! Silver is boring unless it’s a highlight.

I’ve seen ones that were custom painted and they look significantly better. It doesn’t stop them from being dumpsters on wheels, but at least they look finished.

Uhhh we might not see the same thing

That vehicle has already lasted longer, and been more useful, than any of the embarrassing new ones.

Hi, is this available?
Nurse_Robot@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Yes, are you still interested?
greybeard@lemm.ee 10 months ago
Obviously fake. You can’t buy a car that cheap.
over_clox@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Hi, how many miles per gallon does it get?
Rivalarrival@lemmy.today 10 months ago
Hi, how many
miles per gallongallons per mile does it get?FTFY.
theunknownmuncher@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Ironic, gallons per mile is actually a more useful measure for high fuel efficiency vehicles because it directly represents fuel consumption. Differences in MPG are more misleading to intuition as MPG increases.
For example, upgrading from an 18mpg car to a 28mpg car saves more fuel than upgrading from a 34mpg car to a 50mpg car. It is easy to be misled that 34mpg -> 50mpg is more savings because it is an upgrade of 16mpg rather than only 10mpg.
nthavoc@lemmy.today 10 months ago
It gets 13 gallons per mile.
Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 10 months ago
Miles, plural??

Smiles per gallon

More desirable than the new ones. Looks like it could withstand someone spitting on it.

I recently bought a wearable device from Amazon with programmable esp32 s3 board. What I got was basically buying a cybertruck and getting this.
Valmond@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Esp32s are great, what was your expectations?
random_character_a@lemmy.world 10 months ago
My expectation was to get a product with esp32 s3 from 2020, not the 2016 version.
Just like the car in the picture gets you from A to B, I can work with that chip. It’s just a pain to strip and modify stuff designed for the S3 to get at least partially working on the chip I got. Luckily I don’t need every “bell and whistle”.
altphoto@lemmy.today 10 months ago
Probably lead acid batteries.
postnataldrip@lemmy.world 10 months ago
This is fake.
Panel gaps are too consistent and it doesn’t look like anything has fallen off.

Even survives car washes. Fake as hell

Things were just built better back then
ExtremeDullard@lemmy.sdf.org 10 months ago
Also, as cars designed by immature adults go, it might just look better than the real thing.
