- Comment on Seems like Trump waited for winter to escalate his ICE agenda but why did he go after Minnesota? People who are completely acclimated to frigid weather. 14 hours ago:
Some conservative influencer made up lies about daycare fraud being perpetuated by Somali immigrants. (There was a fraud ring, some of them were Somali, but US citizens and the ring leader is white).
Trump got wind of the influencer, didn’t believe any of the evidence disproving his claims and sent in a shit load of ICE agents.
That’s basically the whole story.

Yeah. I don’t know how long it lived, at least a year since then, after that who knows. Rabbits aren’t very long lived to begin with, and even less so when they sell them at the fair as tiny bunnies not neutered or spayed. Once you know how much work they are it seems kind of criminal.

My cats will drink flat soda or energy drinks if you leave them out. Animals are weird.
I once had a friend in school who had a rabbit. He took the vegetables off his burger and threw it in the cage with a couple strips of bacon. The rabbit sat on the tomato, devoured the bacon and then nibbled the lettuce a little bit. I still wonder to this day how a rabbit even digests bacon, let alone get an appetite for it.

Your comment reminds me of these lyrics from Hobo Johnson and The Lovemakers song “Sex and The City”
[Intro] Caller: “Okay so the first one, I do have to ask. Would you be able to pay the balance in full today? $691?” Frank: “No I can’t” Caller: “Okay, no problem. So what we can do is break that up into three monthly payments.”
[Verse 1] Beautiful people only live in downtown And midtown and not around where I stay Is it their brain that really matters Or their character that flatters Or dependant on their beautiful face But if you’re beautiful from birth, do you really have the courage Of a woman picked on for girth Ever since she was a kid, and you know how kids work Up until she was a full-grown adult Now I’m not saying that it’s really smooth sailing But guys, being nice doesn’t hurt And I’m not saying that they’re perfect I’m just saying that they’re different And the difference is they love to wear skirts [Chorus] Sex in the city Probably feels really really nice With hands placed on faces and twinkles in their eyes Sex in the city Probably looks really really great with A girl that’s like a ten and a guy that’s 'bout an eight Sex in the city Sounds like it takes place on stage Both moaning in key while Marvin Gaye sings Sex in the city Candles smell like great jobs and promising careers My candles smell like fear my roommates may hear
[Verse 2] I have really bad back-ne It looks like the gosh-dang night sky And I promise I’m gonna get it taken care of So I’m not a baby maker looker, but maybe I am To a woman that really loves me for Who I am …Or maybe who I’m not Either way, it’s getting bothered and hot—gross! Hey missus, would you take me to a world Where nothing else exists except The contents of our soul And there we’ll talk Y’know, or Instragram DM works too (whatup!) If I look like Brad Pitt mixed with bit of Jake Gyllenhaal And a bowl of David Hasselhoff I wouldn’t be here at all I’d be in Los Angeles Or at your mom’s house eating all the sandwiches! [Chorus] Sex in the city Probably feels really really nice With hands placed on faces and twinkles in their eyes Sex in the city Probably looks really really great with A girl that’s like a ten and a guy that’s 'bout an eight Sex in the city Sounds like it takes place on stage Both moaning in key while Marvin Gaye sings Sex in the city Candles smell like great jobs and promising careers My candles smell like fear my roommates may hear… and socks
[Outro] And whatever freshening spray I use Thirty minutes beforehand While I was quickly running through my room trying to clean it Right, uh? Right, uh? I’m right, uh? You think this song’s about to end, is that what you think?

If you had convenient trees you pick a pine tree that is bare that hasn’t been outcompeted by other trees. It doesn’t work as well with decidous forests.

Is demand actually higher than supply? This is all from future orders to be plugged into data centers that don’t exist, that needs power that doesn’t exist to earn a profit from a product that doesn’t have profits that exist.
If I take out a 20B loan to buy all Pokemon cards on the market with an agreement to buy 95% of all future cards made for the next few years and use the Pokémon cards as an asset to secure the loan did I single handedly drive up demand for the foreseeable future even if there is no proof I will make good on the deal?

Also it doesn’t really matter how big your economy is, it’s like a first mover incentive. So small countries who were relying on aid via USAID and various other soft power schemes that DOGE cut have a huge incentive now to be the first to create the tools and markets.
