You can only open one window, and you can only do it once

Military discipline is best served for the military, not adolescents. Your husband is cultivating a person who will never let go of their disdain for both of you, and will likely act out in bombastic ways. Good luck.

Yikes
- Comment on Are most people who avoid turn signals do it to feel more normal? (Imitating their parents, avoiding perceived stupidity of using turn signals when it seems useless, etc) 3 days ago:
I don’t know, but it fucking infuriates me when I’m waiting to turn, and someone turns at the last second next to me without signaling. My brother in Christ, the only reason I’m stopped here is because YOU appeared to be passing in front of me, and I could’ve turned ages ago if I knew you were going to be turning
- Comment on ChatGPT 'got absolutely wrecked' by Atari 2600 in beginner's chess match — OpenAI's newest model bamboozled by 1970s logic 3 days ago:
I’m often impressed at how good chatGPT is at generating text, but I’ll admit it’s hilariously terrible at chess. It loves to manifest pieces out of thin air, or make absurd illegal moves, like jumping its king halfway across the board and claiming checkmate

Yeah, and I’d love to see the paid off politicians get arrested instead of drug dealers.
- Comment on Ross Ulbricht Got a $31 Million Donation From a Dark Web Dealer, Crypto Tracers Suspect 1 week ago:
It’s okay with me tbh. People are going to use drugs, I’d rather we legalized it, taxed the fuck out of it, and had a way for people to do what they’re already doing in a safer and more regulated way
- Comment on If we replace most plastic with a non plastic alternative and would that really be better? 1 week ago:
It’s worth looking into, the research seems promising
- Comment on why does alcohol stop my back pain but medicine doesn't? 1 week ago:
Gabapentin isn’t addictive as far as I’m aware, but pregabalin aka lyrica is. Both do similar things
- Comment on Certain dishes like Curries and fried rice keep getting better with age, until they don't. 1 week ago:
You’re absolutely right. It just doesn’t apply so much to foods that are naturally antimicrobial, i.e. foods super salty and/or acidic (or super basic in theory, but I can’t think of any examples).
- Comment on Certain dishes like Curries and fried rice keep getting better with age, until they don't. 1 week ago:
It allows harmful bacteria to reach infectious levels, it’s true of most foods and isn’t exclusive to lasagna

I find Google’s live translate makes things pretty easy, but it won’t be as good as Dominic

But if a bear wakes you up in the middle of the night, it’s pretty helpful to have your eyesight maintained, even while sleeping, in order to just wake up and go

Then we need more studies starting 50 years ago at least. Regardless, placebo is a thing. We give pain meds all the time knowing they do next to nothing with minimal side effects, give the girls some oxy, or robaxin, or fentanyl. Those are the easiest drugs for me to ask a doctor to prescribe for pain, and having a 1 time dose in a doctor’s office will not make you an addict.

Interesting ethical dilemma: everyone loses someone they love to a mosquito borne illness, thus motivating the human race to quickly eliminate them, ultimately saving more people than if we didn’t all lose a loved one at once.
