If we’re taking them at their word (and not the silly joke it is) technically they could have removed 7 ingredients so far, with only 2 left, while still having diarrhea each time. In that context, say next time they try the dish with only 1 ingredient and the don’t have diarrhea, then they have the likely suspect. They could then try the dish with every ingredient except the suspected allergen to confirm it
- Comment on "Indian American" and "American Indian" are terms that will probably gonna confuse a lot of people. 2 weeks ago:
It’s complicated. Best practice is to ask for individual preference or use the specific tribe
- Comment on Justice is a luxury the poor can’t afford and the rich pay to evade. 2 weeks ago:
Justice?

That’s not true! I also buy condoms

My point still stands

A lot of your posts are pretty concerning. Is there a mental health professional you can turn to instead of relying on Internet strangers?
- Comment on What’s your opinion on Taylor Sheridan’s new show The Madison? 3 weeks ago:
None.
- Comment on Laws basically treats your mind and your body as two separate entities, since suicide isn't treated as an excercise of free will and self determination, but as an assault by the mind against the body. 3 weeks ago:
*they, but admittedly probably he

Camera on pole can’t “remove” problems as quickly
- Comment on If we organised highly-publicised world-wide funerals for each animal that goes extinct because of our behaviour, maybe it would help sway people to take environmental issues more seriously 3 weeks ago:
A cursory Google search suggests 1-5 species go extinct every year, at 100 to 10,000 times the natural background rate. Your solution actually seems pretty practical and reasonable
- Comment on Am I right to be afraid of germs / is my family disgusting or am I overreacting and this is germaphobia? (read post) 3 weeks ago:
That’s pretty gross, definitely against all recommendations. I wouldn’t be comfortable with it. I also don’t think it’s super rare, and the average person probably won’t get sick from it that often. But I hold myself and those I care about to higher standards.

Yeah, good point. I’m leaving the community

Gross word to use.
- Comment on Fascism bad. 4 weeks ago:
Except everything isn’t okay… Everything is actually really, really bad. Not for me personally, as a white cis man everything is fine. But for so many people the world is a bad and dangerous place right now, and that terrifies and stresses me the fuck out.
- Comment on Subtitling a video, what is this sound called? 4 weeks ago:
Weird, I can’t see any links / image / audio so this was a very confusing post for me, but based on other replies I guess it’s a me problem (on Boost)
- Comment on YSK: You Don't Actually Have A 'Lizard Brain', Evolutionary Study Reveals 4 weeks ago:
That being said, some parts of the brain are absolutely related to distinct functions. But if the brain retains enough plasticity it can adapt to damage or even total loss of regions, which is fascinating!
- Comment on Aint never seen someone turn off their cellphone at the pump 5 weeks ago:
You can do that with modern cars, the risk is essentially zero. It’s more dangerous to not ensure you’re statically discharged / not get in and out of the car
- Comment on Why does it seem like teenagers killing people is way more commonplace in the UK now? 5 weeks ago:
Crime “seeming more common place” is media fear mongering 99.9999% of the time

Shitty take. I think you’re trying to reference sciatica, which doesn’t make your comment any less sexist and gross

I think it was pretty obviously sarcasm
- Comment on Did I discover a fake conspiracy theory? 1 month ago:
This comes across as if you’re on the side of those peddling this (most likely) fake story. While what you said is true, it comes across as unnecessary at best, and malicious at worst to warn others about the “risks” of helping others. Good Samaritans can face legal trouble, but that’s exceedingly rare.
Always help others if you’re able and do it within a reasonable lens, full stop.
