He’ll look so weird and weak all barricaded behind all that bulletproof glass, and he’ll hate it— awesome
I think he personally requested this. They’re are reports that he’s really rattled by the event, and regularly watches a recording of it “over and over again”.
That… doesn’t seem consistent with what we know of Trump… although, it sounds like a predictable deflection by his handlers to make him seem more personable, more… human.
A narcissist like Trump would continue to believe he’s invincible and is the one insisting on these huge, open rallies to begin with. They feed his ego, and he can’t live without them. So, the Secret Service has compromised with his campaign to only allow them if he’s as shielded as the Pope any time he’s in an open public space.
And, no matter who tries to convince him - he refuses to believe that a lot of capable people very well may try again.
It’s theatre. Because he thinks he’s important.
For extra safety, I’d replace the bulletproof glass panes with steel sheets.
Six of them, to make sure he’s protected from all sides.
And weld them together for extra reinforcement. Airtight, to protect him from gas attacks.

Seriously. The reports of him having PTSD are clearly true. Couldn’t happen to a worse dude.
I’m surprised people are still using guns for this and not just flying a drone packed with explosives.
For your typical loner right wing nutjob, guns are still way more accessible.

They saw a shooter climbing on a roof and were like: hah, that’s interesting. And now you’re telling me the use some high tech equipment to prevent assassination by drones. Riiiight.
Get it going on a ballistic trajectory out of range of the target and then it doesn’t matter if it gets jammed.
Ai copilot? Wouldn’t do much against an emp, I suppose.
But you could use an optical guided drone. Oh wait it’s a TOW. We’re using TOWs again.
