I was taking a break from browsing lemmy the last few days and just saw this. I’m absolutely devastated. I knew the admins were looking for new mods and such but never knew it was this severe. I don’t think I could’ve spent my time doing this work but I definitely could’ve given a few dollars if that helped.
- Comment on Is lemm.we actually shutting down? 2 days ago:
I was about to make a new lemm.ee sub too

I use duolingo every day and it’s alright for vocabulary. It actually recently had some voice exercises to practice everyday conversation and it has been great as well.

- Comment on How the Signal Knockoff App TeleMessage Got Hacked in 20 Minutes 2 weeks ago:
Not to mention TeleMessage violated the terms of the GPL. Signal is under gpl and I can’t find TeleMessage’s code anywhere.
Edit: it appears it is online somewhere just not in a github repo or anything

I’ve been avoiding starbucks for year. Garbage company. But I do have a gift card I think so I might be forced to use it, or give it away since if I don’t then they just get a free donation to their company.

I would be interested in NHL stuff but I don’t even consume that much NHL content. If somebody actively posts in NHL and other hockey related sub lemmy communities then I’ll join and try to engage as much as I can.
