Horror/action: Dead Space FPS/time manipulation: Singularity Factory/combat(optional): Dyson Sphere Project
Singularity still stands up as it’s graphics are decent. Super cheap on GoG. Dead Space if you get the original would be cheap. HD remaster would be more. If you love factory games but have never played DSP god damn do I wish I was you. Recommend playing without combat enabled on first run to just enjoy how gorgeous the game is and to help with learning everything before throwing in combat management

Nice post man! Played this when it was originally released and had a bit of fun both by myself and playing coop. Definitely a solid game.

Ubisoft has really been screwing the pooch recently though. Like overall as a company. Their CEO has been repeatedly shooting himself in the foot saying dumb shit about being okay about not owning your games, etc. Idk, guess I’m just pessimistic.

Thank you! I know you’ve been told plenty of times by others, but it should always be said: I greatly enjoy these and appreciate the time you put into them!
As for what I’ve been playing: Pacific Drive released an update for ‘Endlesd Expeditions’. It wasn’t exactly what I was hoping, but I actually ended up greatly enjoying it. I believe the additional Story for it may be bugged as I’ve done close to 15 runs with no voice likes from Francis, but been a blast anyway.
I also tried the play test for a game called Little Rocket Lab. If you’re a fan of Stardew Valley and factory type games I highly recommend giving it a go!

First, it’s the internet, you can cuss. Either structure the sentence not to include it at all or just cuss for fuck’s sake. Second, not everyone knows every actor/actress or is familiar, especially one that’s definitely not in the limelight anymore like Ashley Judd. Hell even when she was popular she wasn’t in a lot.

Bro you aren’t shitting on my post at all and I 100 percent agree.

The fact an official gov channel is posting this kind of childish shit is abhorrent and embarrassing. If I pulled shit like this at my job I’d be thrown out. Fucking slime.

I’d actually never heard this angle but sounds legit. Cutting corners sounds pretty typical of talking head yltyoes that want to try to cut costs no matter what.

I’ll be honest I find the ray tracing shit s gimmick that eats up too much resource. I’d much rather just have some awesome games to play, with good looks or not. PC gaming for me has always been about variety anyway. The console looking better never meant anything.

I’m assuming because you’d have to worry about moisture build up which leads to mold? I’m new to this type of thing so just trying to confirm information.

Couple ideas:
- Sit on it. It’ll just passively build value over time
- See if any cell service providers want to setup towers. They provide passive income as well, monthly

Isn’t this stupid fuck FROM South Africa? The levels of shit here I swear to god.
- Comment on Is Severance the new Lost? 1 month ago:
Everything I’ve seen on Severance is at least plausible and has several explanations. The show ‘From’ on the other hand can get fucked. The entirety of Season 2 was just adding more layers of questions and answering none from S1’. Sorry to distract/hijack from the main subject but man I’m still salty about that garbage.

- Comment on Jellyfin is not just good... but *better* than Plex now?! 2 months ago:
Honestly ever since Plex started going the enshittification route and hocking their fucking bullshit instead of just being a home server it’s been irritating the shit out of me. The only thing they aren’t doing at this point is adverts live vids.

- Comment on Is it time to ring the alarm on internet door cameras? 2 months ago:
95 percent of the folks I’ve known literally get them as a ‘oh my Amazon package is here’ device, not for security. Granted security is a bonus, but if you actually wanted security you’d get perimeter cams, not a doorbell with a very limited FoV.

Always appreciate your posts man! Thanks for taking time out of your day to add content to Lemmy! I have a question: I’ve played Control which references Alan Wake and the story definitely piqued my interest. I do own the first but haven’t played it. At this point should I play the first before the second? Or just go with the second one?
- Comment on Jeep Introduces Pop-Up Ads That Appear Every Time You Stop 2 months ago:
I’ve known several Jeep owners over the last decade and those that weren’t buying it strictly for the ‘Jeep clout’ as an actual vehicle/daily driver had constant issues, while under warranty, and dealt with issues even trying to get said warranty work done. Like that wasn’t enough for me, on top of that I had a mechanic with his own shop that said he’d never touch another Jeep because of how horribly they are designed to work on. Anything from ease of access to work on the engine to bolts stripping out because they were overtorqued during assembly and made with shit metals that would sooner melt than come off in one piece. Now this? Yeah, hope they go bankrupt. This is just as bad as BMW and their ‘pay a subscription for seat warmers’ bullshit.

When I was still trying to make it work (fucking dumb in hindsight) pretty much all of the above. After the fact I had severe issues building new relationships, took trauma out on a few girls that absolutely didn’t deserve it. Took me years to build trust with the woman I’m now married to. Definitely suffered flashbacks and nightmares for years.
- Comment on Adults diagnosed with ADHD have shorter life expectancy, UK study shows 2 months ago:
Yeah. Living with ADD / ADHD and the associated symptoms is extremely fucking stressful. Especially if you don’t know or are undiagnosed. I lived with my symptoms well into my 30s so I’m sure I’ve shaved a few years off my life.

Holy fuck I had no idea PISD was a thing. Welp there’s another few years off my life.
- Comment on Just discovered Mini Metro, a puzzle game where you have to create metro lines. Very addictive, but also chill, and currently 50% off on Steam 3 months ago:
I recommend it. It’s a nice little time waster that you can pick up and put down with relative ease. There are modes without timers and such as well so you aren’t stressing out while playing. This game has been out for a while and over the years I’ve picked it back up several times.
