Okay thanks! Happy gaming!
- Comment on Is it time to ring the alarm on internet door cameras? 1 week ago:
95 percent of the folks I’ve known literally get them as a ‘oh my Amazon package is here’ device, not for security. Granted security is a bonus, but if you actually wanted security you’d get perimeter cams, not a doorbell with a very limited FoV.

That pic is great, haha. Woman looks so smug.

Always appreciate your posts man! Thanks for taking time out of your day to add content to Lemmy! I have a question: I’ve played Control which references Alan Wake and the story definitely piqued my interest. I do own the first but haven’t played it. At this point should I play the first before the second? Or just go with the second one?
- Comment on Jeep Introduces Pop-Up Ads That Appear Every Time You Stop 1 week ago:
I’ve known several Jeep owners over the last decade and those that weren’t buying it strictly for the ‘Jeep clout’ as an actual vehicle/daily driver had constant issues, while under warranty, and dealt with issues even trying to get said warranty work done. Like that wasn’t enough for me, on top of that I had a mechanic with his own shop that said he’d never touch another Jeep because of how horribly they are designed to work on. Anything from ease of access to work on the engine to bolts stripping out because they were overtorqued during assembly and made with shit metals that would sooner melt than come off in one piece. Now this? Yeah, hope they go bankrupt. This is just as bad as BMW and their ‘pay a subscription for seat warmers’ bullshit.

Literally flushing money down the drain to feed ego. It’s honestly pathetic and disgusting.

When I was still trying to make it work (fucking dumb in hindsight) pretty much all of the above. After the fact I had severe issues building new relationships, took trauma out on a few girls that absolutely didn’t deserve it. Took me years to build trust with the woman I’m now married to. Definitely suffered flashbacks and nightmares for years.
- Comment on Adults diagnosed with ADHD have shorter life expectancy, UK study shows 4 weeks ago:
Yeah. Living with ADD / ADHD and the associated symptoms is extremely fucking stressful. Especially if you don’t know or are undiagnosed. I lived with my symptoms well into my 30s so I’m sure I’ve shaved a few years off my life.

Holy fuck I had no idea PISD was a thing. Welp there’s another few years off my life.
- Comment on Just discovered Mini Metro, a puzzle game where you have to create metro lines. Very addictive, but also chill, and currently 50% off on Steam 1 month ago:
I recommend it. It’s a nice little time waster that you can pick up and put down with relative ease. There are modes without timers and such as well so you aren’t stressing out while playing. This game has been out for a while and over the years I’ve picked it back up several times.

I always wonder where we would actually be at as a civilization if it weren’t for fuckass lobbyists and money hoarding greedy assholes. This is a perfect example. If we’d learned from our mistakes and actually improved on nuclear energy there’s no telling where we’d be at this point.

Bro you’re barking up the wrong tree. I was providing information to a question. Regardless of your stance, the statement I made still stands. Talk to a vegan, that’s their belief. I’m not even vegan.

Of course this comes out after I just purchased 2. Fucking vultures. It’s never enough.
- Comment on Honey 3 months ago:
So my wife went vegan for a bit and the logic is basically any living thing we take advantage of or make their lives more of a labor. So eggs, honey, milk aren’t vegan because companies put those animals in situations they normally wouldn’t be in in the wild to take advantage and harvest products from them.

I dream of a day where this series actually gets a remake or full hd remaster. The game was so open ended and you really felt accomplished in everything you did in the game. Whether training your pet, taking over villages, etc. For me the game was the first of its kind where your actions actively showed so it was really awesome to see your hand becoming more glowey or scarred. Same with your pet. Then there was your conscious guys good/evil which were a riot as well. Overall just a great game. Good memories.

Appreciate the time taken to type a response. Did you follow any videos or guides of any sort? It’s been a loooong time since I’ve setup dual boot on a system and I’m wondering if complexity has been simplified at all.
