At least it’s not like in Morrowind, where if you stole something of a merchant’s, they thought that every other identical item in the world belonged to them as well.

As someone who hoards everything and doesn’t like to bother with stealing things, I learned quickly that nobody in the galaxy cares about certain items. Disposable cups I get, but everyone is also just fine with you taking all their pens, styluses, notepads, folders, plants, pots, pans, and that one desk toy that looks like a bunch of balls stuck together.
I’ve actually never seen an empty beer bottle that was owned before, but I have seen almost identical full bottles right next to them that are, making it easy to steal accidentally if you’re not paying attention.

The house payment seemed horrifying, I did the parents one. My parents are fucking nice in this game. There's totally a dialogue option with them where you can tell them you "don't think you can keep making the payments", I didn't have the heart to even quicksave and try it.

Funny, she left my squad way before we got to any romance options; she didn’t like that my response to being arrested was to blast the cop. I got the same convo seen in the article. I was very disappointed that I wasn’t able to say “If the state wants a monopoly on violence then maybe they should hire someone who is better at it.”
