  I wanted to have a look at some gameplay and went to the Steam store. Both trailer have no gameplay footage, just animations and such. I hate such trailers, its such a waste of time and want make me ignore the game… store.steampowered.com/app/686060/Mewgenics/

    I like some of the trailer/animation stuff, but you’re totally right that practically zero gameplay footage is a serious oversight.

    Had the same issue, but even the gameplay trailer I found was not helpful to understand the pull, idea or appeal. I’m not saying the game isn’t good or worth it, but in past games the basic gameplay loop idea was clearer. Is this some isometric round based battle game?

    Absolutely. Scrolled through all the images and had zero idea what the game even was. Thought it was a pet cat simulator or something.

    I sunk a couple hours into it today, pretty good stuff so far, though strategy games aren’t usually my forte so I’m just full sending cats out at random lmao

    It’s unmistakably an Edmund game, that’s for sure.
