Probably God of war. I’m way behind in my gaming! Currently half way through The last of us part2.
- Comment on OpenAI Will Shut Down Sora Video Platform 16 hours ago:
Didn’t realise you could do it locally, just checked online and there’s several options. So why are these fuckers building huge, resource-greedy data centres. . ?

Kinda like something that dripped out the back end of a poisoned cow?
- Comment on Nier Automata 1 day ago:
I think I actually got an achievement for checking out 2B’s arse ten times.
- Comment on Nier Automata 1 day ago:
I gave up in the third playthrough for this reason. I seemed to be just doing the same stuff over and over. And I don’t really like bullet hell things. But TBF I loved the style and the music, and the game gave me some truly epic moments.

Your dad got banned from the local petting zoo for blowing a sheep.
Unfounded claims are fun and easy!

I’ve never bought any and I’m doing fine.
- Comment on Switch 2 demand appears to be flagging as Nintendo reportedly lowers production 1 day ago:
Cool! I’ve been meaning to give cyberpunk another playthrough when I get time.
- Comment on Switch 2 demand appears to be flagging as Nintendo reportedly lowers production 1 day ago:
I played cyberpunk on my steam deck - it’s my only device. I picked it up on sale for £22

Oh I forgot about the windows phone os, the one with the tiles. Yeah that was pretty decent, shame it didn’t get the support it needed.

And a pay rise! And a rimjob from my department manager!
- Comment on Nier Automata 2 days ago:
Yeah it’s a game designed for multiple playthroughs. First time you see the ending credits, you’re actually only about a third of the way through!
- Comment on Nier Automata 2 days ago:
I enjoyed it, but you can have too much of a good thing and I gave up a few hours into the third playthrough. Music was spectacular tho, and I liked the art style a lot.
- Comment on I've had enough shimmying along ledges and squeezing through cracks sideways to last me a lifetime 2 days ago:
I’m a couple of hours into the last of us 2, and I have already edged through a bunch of cracks. And done the ledge thing too. I don’t hate it.

Yeah, up his own arse, in small change.
- Comment on What are your hallmark games? What games have shaped how you view games? 3 days ago:
Man, I spent so long playing elite! Docking with those space stations took a whole lot of practise. And the graphics seemed amazing at the time, amazing how far and fast things have changed.
- Comment on Intel is reportedly preparing a 10% price increase for consumer CPUs 3 days ago:
In a few years there will be shit loads of irrelevant AI crap that no-one will be able to use because they can’t buy devices. These AI companies seem like a predator that goes extinct because it has eaten all its potential prey.
- Comment on Elon Musk to Owe Billions After Jury Finds He Misled Twitter Investors Before Takeover 3 days ago:
I mean, financially, yeah I think so. Which is ironic, since as a person he’s worth about as much as a large turd in a small bag.
- Comment on Microsoft announces sweeping Windows changes - but no apologies 4 days ago:
My tech knowledge is not at all current, recently got sick of windows BS and installed linux mint on my laptop. The whole process was really easy, didn’t have to use command prompt at all or understand any arcane technical terms. It was actually easier and more accessible than windows.
- Comment on is black myth wokong a good game? 4 days ago:
I absolutely agree about difficulty and frustration. I’m in my 50s, my hands are a bit fucked, and I don’t have the reaction times I did a few decades back. I also just don’t have as much screen time. I don’t want to spend that limited time getting my arse kicked again and again and making no progress. With a few notable exceptions, if I can’t get past something after a dozen or so tries, I’ll usually quit.
It’s very hard to define the difference, but there’s a type of difficulty that gives me a real feeling of triumph to overcome, and there’s a type that just annoys me. I can’t be arsed with the latter - life is short and backlog is long.
- Comment on Meta will shut down VR Horizon Worlds access in June 1 week ago:
Was this the thing with legless avatars from the uncanny valley? No idea how they wasted so much money - they’d have done better to employ a good gaming studio to make something fun that looked good. Could have saved billions there.

- Comment on Hackers Expose The Massive Surveillance Stack Hiding Inside Your “Age Verification” Check 1 week ago:
Yeah, steam determines that someone is an adult if they have a credit card on their account. This seems like a simple and effective method. Although I do still sometimes have an ‘Are you over 18?’ query, maybe that’s from individual games.
- Comment on Viral anti-masturbation app exposed sensitive user data 1 week ago:
I’m not downvoting you, but this doesn’t explain why you get extreme physical withdrawals from heroin and not from porn.
- Comment on Viral anti-masturbation app exposed sensitive user data 1 week ago:
Yep seems likely Jesus was a real historical figure. Possibly an anti capitalist activist who got executed, and after his death the mythology started to spring up.
- Comment on Viral anti-masturbation app exposed sensitive user data 1 week ago:
As someone who dealt for way too many years with a heroin addiction, I keep reading things like this and wanting to say stuff like ‘porn addiction isn’t a real addiction.’ But TBF I’ve never had a porn addiction and don’t know what it’s like, so I can’t say that. But there are undeniable differences.
- Comment on Valve Sued By The Performing Rights Society Over Music Rights in Games Valve Doesn’t Make or Own 2 weeks ago:
Isn’t this kind of like suing blockbuster over music in the films they rent? Seems a bit daft, but there must be a reason they think it might succeed.
- Comment on Xbox as a platform is officially dead 2 weeks ago:
If I’m going to buy a PC type console, it’ll be the steam machine. No idea why anyone would go for something that has windows on it at this point. I guess some will buy it because it has the Xbox name but the value of that is waning.

The LLM just told me to come round to your house and crap in your begonias. You might want to avoid looking out the window until I’m done.
