Mullvad does in fact block port forwarding. If it is absolutely required (it is if you want to be able to connect to the most people) then you should look into possibly a seed box or another reputable vpn.
- Comment on pirate shit 2 weeks ago:
There is a setting to bind qbittorrent to your vpn. PLEASE use this as using it without accidentally could get you in trouble. The binding is a last resort safety mechanism to prevent it from even working if the vpn is off.
- Comment on Why Everyone’s Picking Up a PSP Again in 2026 (my article!) 2 weeks ago:
I don’t think people who say “everyone” ever literally means “everyone”. It’s a niche and the hype around old devices is real so the author is just commenting on it. I get hating sensationalized titles but this really isn’t as terrible as you are making it out to be.
- Comment on 3D Print some math. 2 weeks ago:
Hmmm. I don’t think so but I do think it is incorrectly used here. To me, the 3rd dimensional plane would just be the z axis. If you were talking about the entire 3D shape which they are here, I would just say 3rd dimension.

I highly doubt RS3 will outpace OSRS ever. The majority of the money Jagex pulls in is through OSRS, that’s why it gets so much more content. RS3 can be fun for the certain group of people but OSRS is just a behemoth.

OSRS is a completely new game. They’ve added so much content, it’s absolutely worth it if you haven’t played in a while.

I’d wager even the 1% is the stereotypical “solution in search of a problem”. Seems to be a reoccurring theme as of late in the tech industry.

It isn’t done. It really is never done. Purely from a “keeping the lights on” mode, you still fix minor bugs, update dependencies, fix vulnerabilities and maybe even make small code changes. Outside of that, you are always implementing new features, fixing old features, or creating tests/automation. All of that takes a lot of work and requires manpower.

It has been breaking a lot lately and it’s really sad. I pretty much pull all of my content off of YouTube now through yt-dlp so once that goes, im pretty much entirely YouTube free. I absolutely refuse to use it in the state it’s in now and really wish more creators would offer content on other platforms. Yt-dip is amazing and great but shouldn’t be the permanent solution.

Yeah I’m not quite sure you understand how webpages or the massive backend processes that keep it afloat work.

That’s very different from what you stated early. Because “pop music” doesn’t stand for “popular music”. They are different things in the way the OP stated.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
It doesn’t have to. Both can be used interchangeably but one doesn’t always necessarily mean the other. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop_music has a really good outline on the history and why “pop music” is a sub genre of “popular music”.

Setting up Matrix/Synapse was extremely easy and done in a day. The self hosting part is not that hard and I would say migrating users would be the majority of your time. Plenty of VPSs online make obtaining infrastructure very easy.

Usually people advise against trying to time the market. Missing the down is one thing but if you miss the way back up then that is a lot of potential profit gone. Weathering the storm is typically the better option.
