Huel’s rules:
- Mexico must be piss yellow
- All good meth is blue
- The word ‘bitch’ can be used in many creative ways
- Skyler is a bitch

Skyler is a bitch is only true if you watched the show as a manchild
She is a victim, just like Jesse and Walter is a fucking asshole right throughout the show

I remember someone saying that the colour filter was actually used for memories in Breaking Bad. A lot of memories just happened to take place in Mexico.

That’s definitely not Mexico in American movies. They never show any of Mexico’s grand architecture and vibrant communities. Only the slums.

The use of yellow color filters for Mexico began with the film Traffic in 2000. To allow the audience to easily distinguish between the film’s three storylines, Traffic’s director and cinematographer Steven Soderbergh used various optical effects to give all three plots a distinctive visual style. The most notable of these was the Mexico storyline, where Soderbergh used tobacco filters to tint the image yellow.
TIL it’s that new

How would I know it’s Mexico if it’s not yellow?
