    I’m pretty sure its a 1995 American crime thriller film directed by David Fincher and written by Andrew Kevin Walker. It stars Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, with Gwyneth Paltrow and John C. McGinley in supporting roles. Where they try to stop a serial killer.

      It was banned from movie theaters upon release in my area. I never even saw trailers for it – finding out it was banned and especially given the theme of the movie (how the dystopian government banned literature and burned books) made me want to watch it even more.
