I cann’t afford a pixel, what would make them think I’d be able to afford a new, flagship motorola? Why won’t they support other populat phones?

It’s both expensive and perpetually sold out

Have tried being a millionair? That seems to make problems go away quite easily.

My professional advice is to not be any of those things when shit hits the fan.

“Most of us” is not “all of us”. Humanity will survive and the survivors will adapt.
Nothing but positivity here.

That’s the point though. I’m not telling you anything about yourself. I’m telling you about what you’re saying. I’m not assuming anything about who you are or aren’t.
- Comment on Would you ever call your son a disappointment? 1 week ago:
Yes we are talking about people. People can be held accountable for their actions and people can change their ways if they make mistakes. You’re saying that people cannot change. If they bought a tesla, they’re nazis, so fuck them.
- Comment on Would you ever call your son a disappointment? 1 week ago:
Correlation is not causation
- Comment on Would you ever call your son a disappointment? 1 week ago:
No, but I would say something like “I am very dissapointed in you for doing X”. A kid can’t change who they “are”, but they can change what they “do”.

- Comment on Achievable dreams 1 week ago:
That may be true, but if you want to get good at something, you need lots of exposure. To live a blue collar life and have enough free time to get good at programming, was not achievable for me. Also, blue collar jobs pay shit and they aren’t fun. Now I’m a programmer, still not getting payed well, and I’m much more stressed, but at least I’m having fun (for now).
- Comment on GrapheneOS calls on privacy focused app developers to boycott European Unified Attestation 1 week ago:
why are people using GrapheneOS as a phone OS, but are STILL using X?
Because your coworkers and your inlaws are still using it. And you phone company only posts their updates on xitter these days. It’s the same reasons why your still using whatsapp.
I personally don’t agree with these reasons, but they’re valid.
- Comment on This helps me sleep. Does this sound pleasant to listen to if someone was snoring like this in the room with you? 2 weeks ago:
For the biggest part of human history, we used to sleep in groups. These kind of sounds are “normal” sleep sounds. Most people prefer some kind of background noise when they go to sleep.

I’m also not a fan of US-centric,but the problem is usually that it assumes all readers are from the US and know its about the US without ever mentioning the US. This one actually says “in the US” at the top, so its fine by me.
- Comment on YSK: Wage theft is the biggest crime by annual losses 3 weeks ago:
And they say the US isn’t striving to be green enough. This picture is from 2012, I think it looks much greener in 2026.
