2025 on Steam is turning into a pretty solid year for co-op games. Lots of big names, some smaller teams, and a few surprises making waves.
This article feels very AI generated to me. Unless It Takes Two is part of the top 5, then it’s only 4 games listed, and the writing seems very stilted.

Split Fiction is great but I think It Takes Two was just a better game all around. Split Fiction was faster paced which was nice, but the little exploration areas in It Takes Two were just wonderful. Lots of little surprises and fun details to find that made it a joy to slow down and just explore and experience some nice environments. Split Fiction was really missing that and while it’s still great, I wish they’d done a bit of that too.
I know in split fiction I saw at least one area with a bunch of things to interact with that were just there to explore. Before that there seemed to be just random things here and there.
Peak is peak.
I want to agree but I suck at that game so damn much. It’s fun, but I struggle to find a good path every time.
Oh I also die all the time, but the banter with friends as a ghost is well worth the time too.
Split Fiction is one of the best local co-op games ever created. Simply incredible.
If you haven’t played It Takes Two (same developer) I highly recommend it. I liked it even more!

Monster Hunter Wilds? Really? With negative reception due to awful performance and even with Capcom admitting its sales were weak?
What’s in your rig? I’m on a 9900k, 3070ti, 32GB RAM, and a nice SSD and I get 50-80FPS on high…

The game looks great, but the performance is poor and unoptimised.
Apparently there isn’t much of an end-game, but from what I understand this is typical of MH games until a DLC comes out
