A friend and I are thinking of getting our pictures taken with the Easter bunny while wearing overalls and a propeller hat. my sister says it’ll be immature and that if I were to show a girl they would immediately be turned off.
We feel it’ll be funny and a good ice breaker with girls or anyone else for that matter. But now I’m kinda questioning it.
One year we bought loud Christmas themed outfits and went to have our picture taken with Santa. But not just Santa, there were minature goats there too. We each held one. They are so stinkin adorable. We were 46? 47? It made our whole week.
That became our Christmas card. Everyone loved it.
Go get your picture made. Your sister is a wet blanket that seems to still get embarrassed easily.

Many would find it stupid, but those people don’t share your sense of humor and you would never get along with them in the first place.
So go and put the picture, it will help weed out people you don’t want to waste your time with. You’ll only get those who either don’t mind or who actually think it’s funny too.

If I acted in any besides just me being me, I wouldn’t be married today. Never pretend to be someone you’re not, any friends you make then won’t be yours, they’ll be that phantom persons.
So what if it’s immature anyway? So are loads of things. And most of them are fun. You exist for your pleasure, not other people’s.

Plus most girls I know would actually like a guy who’s not afraid of not being “nonchalant”. I think if a girl you show this picture to is turned off by it, it’s a dodged bullet for a materialistic/superficial relationship anyways.

Do it cause you enjoy having fun. Ladies will dig it for that reason. Some will think you’re a dork. You don’t want those ones anyway. Don’t do it cause you’re trying to set up a dating profile on some app. That’s weird.

Yeah it depends on our views of dork status. Some of us look for that in a fella. And hope he doesn’t mind our dorkiness too.
If a hypothetical girl really would be “turned off” by you enjoying being yourself, then you probably wouldn’t be able to build a loving relationship with them anyways. Don’t forget to give the Easter Bunny a copy as well!
This is the kind of thing I call a “loser filter”. It stops the kind of people you don’t want to deal with from entering your life in the first place.

Do it because it’s funny, not because you could use it as an ice-breaker (you can’t). If you really want to impress girls, doing it and not giving a fuck what your sister things is more likely the impress someone, girl or not- but it’s not an ice-breaker.

i think filtering out the kinds of people who would be offended/icked by this (e.g. on a dating site profile) is probably a benefit. i can’t fuck someone i can’t laugh with.

I just want to do it as not an ice breaker but as something I can bring up on a date while talking about other stuff if it’s relevant.
We are mostly doing it for the lols but figured it being an icebreaker was an extra.
It’s a completely fine idea, people will probably also find it funny as well. Please don’t listen to these dinosaurs and enjoy life.

Dating website: probably way too soon to share, just looks cringe.
First date: too soon to share, painfully obvious ploy for attention/trying to stand out.
Second date: getting closer, almost there.
Third date: probably safe to share as something endearing and silly.
My suggestion is to do it for yourself because it is fun, because trying to use it as a token to stand out from other men will be seen as a desperate attempt to be funny/quirky, if you bring it out to early.
Any girl who can’t appreciate that picture is not worth pursuing

Be your goofy self, if people are turned off by that you would never be happy with them anyway.
