Like, Clinton did come on to one of his staffers. Ms. Lewinsky was very much wronged by him (though the American people and media may have done her worse), but for some fucking reason the thing that was bad about what he did was never the controversy. It’s clear they’re just mad he’s a democrat.

I live in a right wing area. It’s not mental gymnastics. It’s propaganda. Trump does something completely horrible and the right wing Podcasters and news people spin it in a way that convinces these people it was all for a reason or that somehow it’s not true or something. They are being brainwashed. Its very disturbing because it just shows me that they can be convinced of anything as long as it supports Trump. Trump can literally do anything at this point and I think his people would convince everyone it’s all good or for the right reasons. That’s why I think ij the end if canada doesn’t back down and become the 51st state by choice, he will attack us.

I remember my father being so angry about Clinton that the veins in his neck and face were bulging. He thought Clinton should be hanged, at the time, for adultery and betraying the country.
Now this fat orange fuck is worshiped. I will never understand how they fell for this. The moral compromise needed to support a clown show.

Oh good grief, of course they fell for it. Not that I don’t blame them for it. However, they absolutely fell for a con. To say otherwise is immature or unrealistic black and white thinking.
I’m angry with them, will likely never trust or respect them again. They’re humans just like we are, they aren’t acting, they aren’t completely indecent, and so on.
Just because the fascist side dehumanizes its enemies doesn’t mean we should. It’s also not very effective when you’re trying to predict what they’ll do and how they’ll react. You have to be able to understand the minds of your antagonists to effectively counter them.

I mean, at a high level, I guess so. At human level where these are real people with relationships and thoughts and feelings, it is mind blowing.
Some of them now approve of everything they stood against. Whatever the propaganda that got them there, it’s wild. These are people that I respected and thought had wisdom and they have fallen for such a shallow con.

Hmm bland food or pile of trash. I think it’s an easy decision but evidence shows I am very much In the minority. Once the pile of trash has no chance of winning real progressives can split from the dems without getting torn apart for “splitting the votes” At the very least vote third party, the dnc chases voters. More third party votes will make them chase those voters. They keep going after gop folks cause they actually vote. Dumb strat I know but that’s seems to be reality.

The GOP was rabidly attacking Clinton from Day One. Travelgate was supposed to be an impeachment level offense and we’re still hearing about the death of Vince Foster. If they’d shut up the Monica scandal might have taken him down, but years of crying wolf backfired.
