- Comment on Is flirting redundant? 3 weeks ago:
Lol i just asked and got the standard “oh, I dk” in the cheekist voice possible.
My memory of the situation was no. I was hard friend zoned and my partner has always had zero interest in me physically. Before me i know there was zero interest in anyone beyond standard friendship. That dice roll i did to grab a kiss when I did change both our lives.
- Comment on Is flirting redundant? 3 weeks ago:
I didn’t flirt with my partner at all and kept my emotions in. so we didn’t get together until like 8 months of friendship. my SO had 0 idea I had any interest until we had a moment. It overwhelmed SO and led to wanting space between us for a few months. I wonder if it would have been different if I flirted some.

- Comment on Amazon boss tells staff AI means their jobs are at risk in coming years 3 weeks ago:
Well we know its got good will.
Probably thinks if he replaces his entire staff all at once he will have to shell of very pricing severance packages and wants to trim fat sooner. Or something else money related like stock holders get boners with potential firings coming up. Maybe something legal.
- Comment on Amazon boss tells staff AI means their jobs are at risk in coming years 3 weeks ago:
How kind of him to tell his staff to look elsewhere for jobs so far in advance. Polish that resume team!

And if all that were to happen. You just caused eventual iron man uprising due to lack of supervision on code updates.
- Comment on Patreon plans to consolidate its Pro and Premium plans starting August 5, taking a 10% commission, rather than the current 8% for Pro and 12% for Premium users 4 weeks ago:
Ko-fi charges a 5% platform fee on some features (like memberships, shop, and commissions), but donations are free. They also charge payment processing fees from PayPal or Stripe.
There is also Buy me coffee
We don’t charge a monthly fee. All features, including publishing and emails, are free for everyone. We charge a 5% transaction fee, and creators keep 95% of the earnings.
The issue is the size of platform. Once you get to certain size you can do w/e for hosting fees plus brand name support people feel comfortable donationing to. Only fans and subscriberstar charge more because others dont support NSFW stuff so thats obviously a jerk move. Sure pateron does things like tier system but is that really worth the cost. Im not sold on it yet.

I get what you are saying but unless pateron does waaay more than I think they do 10% cut for hosting a web page to take subscription money seems unreasonable. Which is where all the hate for it comes from.

- Comment on UK | Fewer than half of young men believe abortion should be legal, poll finds 4 weeks ago:
These numbers are so sad. Based on the numbers their fathers probably supported it. I wonder if this a repercussions of more progressive men not breeding as much and raising sons not to be douches.
