    Yeah same. As far as I'm concerned turning your own failed relationship into a hate vendetta is pretty weak shit. Do people really not just see this as extremely pathetic insecurity? Do people really not understand that letting a bad experience change you only gives it even more power over you?

    Being "stoic" or whatever doesn't mean being a whiny little piss baby. It's kind of the opposite. There's nothing weaker or more cringe than letting a breakup own you.

    I have one friend who got divorced. It was difficult for him since it was during COVID and their 2-year-old daughter was involved, but now he’s thriving and super well-adjusted. I think some people just refuse to come to terms with things beyond their control (namely the people in the pic).
